Like e. g. squats, deadlifts work on a vertical abduction, whike the abduction machines works on a horizontal abduction.

Is it true that squats and deadlifts give you more of a peach type butt, and the abduction machine a bubble butt?

And in general, does the type of exercises affect the shape of your butt or it's only genetics?
