Why did this guy go on the treadmill next to me in the gym when the rest of them were free?

I was in the cardio room of the gym. There was only one other person in this room. The cardio room has a row full of treadmills, I was on the one at the end in the corner and I was the only one on the treadmills. I was just cooling down from my run and man comes into the cardio room and goes right beside me when he could have used any other treadmill. Why did he do this?

I was covered in sweat, 0 make up on, and I tend to wear a normal top/leggings. My face was also bright red as I went a bit fast to get a new PB. It made me feel uncomfortable because I was sweating a lot and needed to shower after my run. I decided to move to the other side to cool down.

I'm sure you looked fine all sweaty - bet you were giving him workout inspiration! But it was smart of you to move so you could chill in peace. Nothing worse than feeling weird vibes when you're just trying to cool down.

Next time, don't be afraid to subtly call him out if he hovers weirdly. Just be like "you know there's plenty of other machines, right?" with a smile. Trust, he'll scram real quick when you shine that confidence!

Knew this was from a pink anon, he can use whatever treadmill he likes whether it is next to you or not. The same with public transport and seats in the cinema, this is classic snowflake behaviour from women under 40.

There was like 10 other treadmills to use and I was literally a mess, needed a shower and he went beside me 😩 he must really love that specific treadmill to be near a sweaty mess (me) 😂😂
