I don't feel like exercising either :/
You need to at least walk a lot for what I'm going to tell you to work.
Continue eating, just change how often you eat and your portions. Eat at least 5 times a day small breakfast, snack, small lunch, snack, small dinner, snack. And snack between that if you can. (Snacks as in fruits, vegetables, cereal bars, yogurt, ect). Then walk at least a mile a day (it's a lot easier than it sounds. For example take the stairs instead of the elevator, walk to the restaurant down the road ect) you'll lose FAT and gain MUSCLE this way.
In doing this you're going to boost your metabolism A BUNCH. You'll burn what you eat a lot faster and all you have to do is keep at it.
This is how I live and I am 21, 5' 7" and 120lbs. (I'm mostly muscle so my weight isn't most people's 'ideal' for my height).
Well yeah, I eat junk and chocolate. I need to change this, but it's my comfort zone. I'm pretty much stressed all the time because of my Master's work, job and other things. It's wrong, I know.

Well I walk a-lot. But I also do a lot of farm work now. Before hand all I did was walk with out the farm work. When I was younger same hieght and 110lbs, I would just walk to work (3 miles each way.)
Instead of chocolate you need to find a few fruits that you love and slowly replace that high caffeine surgery substance with something a bit sweeter. Right now sugar babies are in, also known as a personal watermelon. They are to kill for. It's like heaven in a rind. (At least to me).

You need to determine why you are eating so much? Depressed, bored, stressed? If you can target what the problem is you should be able to control your bad habits.
I recently lost 30 lbs and working on losing more. I'm not going to lie it was hard at first but once I got into the way I should be eating it got easier. I still have my days, when I'm stressed I tend to eat more. But when I take note of that I stop. And if you do get out of hand don't beat yourself up, just start a new day.
Eat slower and take note of every bite. Wait before going back for seconds. Guaranteed you'll start to feel full.
Don't deprive yourself of your favorites, just learn to cut down on them.
And at least get out there and walk. Exercise is great to get out that stress.

You have to research many healthy diets, not just one.
It's a matter of trying out things you like. If you force anything, it won't last. Choose a few foods you love and substitute them with the healthy alternative. If you love fried chicken, go for lean chicken breasts, lightly salted and pan seared.
Another good way to stop your gorging is to precook all of your meals. Make them portioned to the size of your fist, and eat no more than 4 per day.

Problem with diets is people don't maintain them so after they lose the weight they go back to the eating habits that made them gain weight in the first place you have to be willing to lose the weight and keep the weight off

When I'm anxious, sad, overwhelmed, frustrated, etc...I eat too much. I eat lots of chocolate too. Sometimes, I can't stop. It's too bad :/
Hmmm...I like to read, but I read a lot already for my Master's. So, sometimes it's stressful to read more. I like music, but that doesn't help. I used to swim, but stopped :/ I dunno...I sound like a loser :/
Alright so do you have easy access to books not related to your masters? And another thing you can do when you feel yourself getting overwhelmed or whatever instead of going and getting food you can go for a walk and if you want to listen to music while you walk (assuming you have a iPod) it sounds boring but I find walking running or whatever to be really relaxing it's just time to yourself where you can clear your head and just focus on walking and it's convenient lol
The streets here aren't made to walk on haha..So, I must drive to a club minutes away to be able to walk there. That's why I get lazy. But you're right. I know what's right. I just don't act upon it.

You want to loose weight but you don't want to work for it with exercising? That's like saying you want an A on a paper that you aren't going to do. Even if you don't want to go to the gym, walk around your neighborhood. You can keep taking in calories but if you don't burn them out with exercise then you won't see results unless you starve yourself.
Anyways, as for you continuing to eat: try to keep busy. If you're at home bored then chances are you are going to keep eating. I also suggest eating healthy foods. Control yourself and only limit yourself to 5 small meals a day. Its all about self control.

Eat lots of low calorie food instead, or you could drastically cut down on your food intake for a few days then wait for you stomach to adjust. Once it's adjusted you'll basically feel fuller faster.

Every time you feel like eating but you're not actually hungry, do a little exercise. Look up some 2 min workouts on youtube and keep then handy.
get rid of all junk food and stock your cabinets with veggies
