Have you or anyone you know been bulimic? What are the signs? Does this sound like bulimia to you or am I getting paranoid?
Thanks!
she may e bulemic. But make sure you read ALL the signs b4 you confront her. I've struggled with eating disorders for a long time and it would be super embarassing if someone confronted me. maby sneek and follow her to the bathroom sometimes you can hear a person purg, if they have been at it for a wile then they may not be loud at it. If you don't ever see her eat anything , or if she dose but it's very little and she pushes her food around on her plate that may be a sign. Thinning hair is another sign, if she's super tired all the time and doesn't do that much. Don't directly talk to her about being bulemic go around the subject so it's not direct as 'your bulemic aren't you?" and talk to her in a privet place so not everyone hears.
Yellowing teeth is a sign of Bulimia Nervosa, but it's not the only one.
This is a really helpful website with more information: link
Try talking to your friend about it, too. But don't ask her, "Are you bulimic?" Because if she is, it'll only close her off and she won't be open to help. Just tell her you've noticed that she seems a little down lately and you're worried about her. Let her know that you're there for her if she needs to talk, too.
Are you in high school? Because you can also talk to a counselor/social worker there and ask them what to do. They'll probably give you a better response than anyone here can.
Good luck. :)
thanks for the link :) it really helped! I didn't even put some of the other stuff together that has happened to her! Thanks so much!

try talking to her about it and let how know the bad side effects of it
if that doesn't work tell the school psychologist/counselor to notify her parents. even if she is mad at u, she will thank you someday for saving her life and being the bestest friend ever.
Talk to her. Tell her you're worried and you just want to help and know what's going on because you ARE her friend. Let her know you're there for her and make her feel comfortable to talk to you about it. If something like that is going on, she needs to get help ASAP. That can become an addiction and could result in death. Let her know that she's beautiful and things will get easier, and better.
