What are your grooming habits?

I wanna know everything. Just curious as to what other people do/don't do. Also, are you in a relationship? When I'm in one I tend to step my game up a bit, how about you?

I always shave everything (arms, legs, pubes, pits) usually twice a week.

Get my eyebrows waxed or threaded once a month

Do self tanner randomly

I exfoliate face and body every couple days

Paint my fingernails every week or so

Do my toes whenever I feel like

Moisturize after shower sometimes, but not as much as I should and that's about all I do

I am not in a relationship, and don't want to commit to anyone other than myself until I feel like settling down. And it gives me an excuse to love myself, and take care of myself hence.

For me, grooming is primarily maintaining high hygiene standards.

I take three hot showers a day (live near tropic of cancer so it gets pretty hot in summers), brush my teeth after every meal,

get my clothes washed after every daily routine wear (especially underwear and socks) unless event dresses I won't be wearing too frequently,

shave or trim everyday in the morning. My facial hair grow super fast so it needs to be done. And I look scruffy if I don't shave daily.

Shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, face wash, are my daily must, and I never change clothes without spraying deodorant on and some cologne. It keeps me fresh inevitably. I also trim my nails whenever they get long, which is like after two weeks or so. And get a haircut ever 2 weeks since we have it very cheap ($7) where I live.

Whenever I go to school, I always have a comb, a body spray, small cologne bottle, mouth freshening gum, and hand sanitizer in my bag. Especially since I have been in the student council for like 8 years now. So I ensure I set an example if I can. It seems like a lot but these are all must haves and really come handy.

These are my routine based measures. I think there are several more factors that contribute to ones grooming, and these are an up to date wardrobe, good etiquettes, healthy diet, proper exercise everyday (not just doing push ups and crunches but more productive routines such as running track and swimming), and mastering the art of speaking. All these are equally important to groom oneself, and very under rated.

I know its a bitch to keep up with, but it really pays off. I'm not like those anorexic models who starve themselves, I feel really good about all this. And best of all, I do it for myself and not for others. Although it has done me really well in eyes of others as well which is a further treat.

I have a routine indifferent of dating someone or not.

Mornings:

- brush teeth, floss, rinse

- wash face with morning burst

- go through the whole proactiv system

- makeup if necessary

- dress

- hair

Night:

- wash and clean face

- night cream

- brush teeth

- retainer

Shower whenever, once a day. Twice a week use body butter, the rest lotion. Nails on weekends.

Wash hair twice a week, use dry shampoo for other days.

Wax once a month, shave often and wear perfume and deodorant on a regular basis.

Bring air mist at school if I have gym. Believe it or not, this only takes up about an hr of my day usually (1/2 morning, rest for night)

Besides the basics (showering, washing stuff, deodorant):

- trim pubes

- shave arms

- paint toenails if I'll be wearing open-toed shoes for a while

- lotion pretty much all over

- usually straighten hair

- mascara and eyeshadow

I don't think I do as much as other girls do... Especially when it comes to shaving, because I hate it. I don't have the patience (or money) to make myself look "perfect" for no purpose. That sounds like I'm putting girls down for doing that but I promise I'm not, we just have different preferences.

I'm in a relationship but my boyfriend likes me just the way I am, so I don't change.

Everyday I...shave my pits, legs & bikini area (used to be completely bare, but now kitty has fur). I wash my hair everyday, my body (sometimes twice if I go running), paint my toes & such about once a week, or once every two, I brush my teeth in the a.m., midday, & at night. I wash my face twice a day (w/light dove bar soap, so soft) once in the a.m. (shower) & once before bed (wash off makeup). I obviously cut my nails often when they need it. I lotion my body & moisturize my face after every wash. I wash my hands after the bathroom, after/during cooking/before a meal. I wear deodorant everyday & put it on immediately after showering. I think that covers most of it...oh & I don't wear perfume (too strong), but I spray light body spray all over & apply tinted, pink lipbalm & head out. ;*)

Oh, & I floss floss floss! I hate gum, but I like mints. I carry portable mini toothbrushes called "Colgate Wisps" in my purse for emergency teeth-brushing. :P aka eating @ my favorite Italian restaurant. :D

I'm in a relationship.

I basically do everything you're doing right now except the self tanner. But I do go to a tanning bed once every 2-3 months. But I don't really have much money to go out and get my eyebrows done lol. I just have one day out of the week to pluck my eyebrows, paint my nails, etc. But yea... I can be considered high maintenance, but the way I see it, it's my way of loving and taking care of myself.

I usually shave legs and wax underarms and pluck eyebrows weekly. Shower/wash hair daily, maybe hair every other day some days. moisturize several times per week.

cut my hair every 2 weeks, shave my face, clip my nails and toe nails when they get long, take showers, brush and floss teeth, wear deodorant and a small amount of cologne, wear clean clothing. I do all this regularly and do not adjust when I'm in a relationship... This is who I am. I'm not going to fake it.

I shave everywhere too and also I like to thread my brows twice a week but sometimes I go longer because I don't have time or I don't like to shape so I grow my eyebrows out so that I can get a better and more clean shape.

yes when I am in a relationship I make more of an effort to look nice. I usually shave my face, and most of my nether regions. I wear nicer clothes. I wear cologne generally.
