Have you tried a low carb or no carb diet?

Trending & News i did one and lost 90 lbs rather quickly so it does work BUT! and its a big BUT it was REALLY REALLY hard to stick to. way harder then probably anything I've ever done in my life, I was absolutly ravenous for anything that had carbs in it. after a while it did get a bit easier but I would still have my episodes.
i don't know what kind of diet your thinking of but id say its best to lower your carb intake and cut out any and all refined sugar but have a healthy balanced diet mostly I found that to be the best way for me in the end.
I have tried it but make sure you eat a lot of proteins when you are on a no carb diet because you sure don't want to loose any protein weight, you want to loose your fat and for that it's important that when you go on a no-carb diet, you increase the intake of your proteins along with fruits & veggie.
I had once lost 50 lbs in a short period of 14 weeks going on no-carb diet.
Good luck and hope it works out for you.
I am on a low carb diet because carbs is how I put weight on. Like you, I am carb sensitive or as my nutritionist says I am a "carboholic." I went to the nutrionist specifically for this reason. By being on low carbs and walking everyday, I dropped about 20 pounds in 5 weeks.
I am not sure about no carbs -- that might be tough to do.
My family has been on a no/low carb diet for ages. It all depends on the person; but my mother lost and has kept off 90lbs over the past year and a half, and my father lost 60lbs; grandma lost 20 and my uncle who is a diabetic lost 70 and no longer has to take insulin.
Atkins starts off with 2 weeks of no carbs to kill your urges and then you add in a few healthy carbs.
Just keep in mind; no/low carb works for some, while no/low fat works for others. Good luck!
Once in a while they mix a bit of fiber powder into their drinks or low-carb soups.
I adore carbs, I will admit most of diet was carbs, but I found out I was wheat sensitive so I finally had to give up most carbs as so much of it is made out of wheat flour and I finally lost that last bit of weight I had been holding on to without even trying. So it really did work to loose weight and I feel so much better too.

Yeah, lost a lot of weight but it was almost impossible to feel full and I had diarrhea a lot :o to get enough carbs I had to eat a LOT of fruits and veges. If you eat the right fats, the right proteins, keep veges and fruits as your MAIN source for carbs, and only eat a small amount of unprocessed grains (steel cut oats, maybe some brown rice)...that usually works out better than eliminating ALL starchy foods. Using legumes in dishes is a good choice, as the glycemic index is less because of their protein content.
A zero-carb diet is only effective if you aren't an active person.
In other words, it sucks.
Complex carbs are good. Have a balanced diet and work out. You can't get any better results than that.
I tried it and I lost some weight but I also felt like I had absolutely no energy whatsoever. Not worth it IMO.
I do take vitamins and I do eat 1 apple and 1 banana a day. I am upping my fruit intake however. I'm cutting out baked/refined carbs now and trying that. In other words I'm still keeping rice and nuts and oatmeal, just nothing that uses any flour. No cereal, no bread, no pasta.
Also yes I do vegetables but probably not as much as I should.
I think it is impossible to do a no carb diet, because carbs seem to be the main thing - fat is easier to ditch. I have been doing a low carb diet yet I have a weakness for sweet things.
Yes, I tried this once. I'm too physically active for it to work, I NEED carbs.
Try a modified version of the diet, LIMIT the carbs without trying to cut them out totally
Extremely well. I need some carb to do weight lifting or HIIT exercise, otherwise no.
What exactly do you mean by carb sensitive?
If you eat carbs and gain weight, it sounds more like metabolism than sensitivity. In the case of the example of that celeb it could have been more psychological/neurological from the sound of it. People being addicted to the foods that release endorphins isn't something new. It's not unusual for one to get addicted to something like that. It's an interesting theory, but I just question how legit it is since nothing scholarly seems to exist for the subject.
