You don't just build up muscle by eating. And even all the protein you eat, won't convert to muscle.
If you want to build 20lbs of muscle, then you need a muscle building regime on the weights, *and* a high protein diet. Meat and eggs are typically good sources of protein. But you need to be careful. If you eat more calories than you burn on the machines, you will just add fat to your frame.
If you eat too much of the wrong things, you won't have the amino acids and proteins necessary to build muscle.
Your question really gives the impression that you don't know what you're doing, when it comes to putting on muscle.
Well there are 3500 calories in a pound. 20 pounds comes at 70,00 calories. The general advisement is to add 500 calories to everyday averaging about a pound a week. Of course, this will be both muscle and fat (which will be greatly determined by your diet). As time goes on, your going to start adding muscle at a reduced rate. Bottom line, adding 20 pounds of mostly lean mass is at least a half year endeavor.

you want muscle get your diet in check and slowly increase your calories till you find your right daily intake
you just want to gain weight? a gallon of milk a day for a month
buy a smaller shirt..
Work out and eat lots of beef and drink milk.
