hello. I have tried these home remedies: chew a couple of cloves slowly. Let the juice saturate your throat; Gargle with warm salt water; keep a strong sugar free mint in your mouth. Or else, check the pharmacist.

When you have a sore throat you don't want to eat foods that are tough to swallow.

Whenever I have a sore throat, I like to eat Percoset and watch cartoons. In fact, I like to do the same thing even when I don't have a sore throat.

Tea, no soda, chicken soup, no dairy, hot applesauce, etc. Stuff that you don't really have to chew a lot.
