If I exercise more but eat the same, will I lose weight?

I'm curious. right now, I can eat what ever in moderation and stay the same weight. if I begin exercising more, but eating the same, would I end up loosing weight? this question seems kinda dumb, but it would be awesome if I didn't have to change my diet too. much. I eat healthy, but have a sweet tooth. and the more I try to limit it, the more I want sweets. I really want to loose like 10 pounds though. I'm 5'3, 125 pounds. so would it work?
