What do you REALLY think about fat girls?

I'm just curious what everyone REALLY thinks of fat girls?

I've never thought too much about it because I'm thin thankfully. But, the other day one of my friends made a really ugly comment about a fat girl who walked past us and it made me wonder how other people felt about it.

This girl was fairly tall and only looked like she weighed 200 lbs, so it's not like she was an oompah-loompah or anything.

I do think they should lose weight though. Extra weight just f***s up your attractiveness. There's also different levels of fatness though. A girl under a size 18/20 still has some hope She might be cute if she has a pretty face and swag. If you're like wearing a 3X and larger you reallllly need to slim down. After a certain amount of weight you just don't look good no matter what you do. I don't put all fat girls in one category though.

Then you have your ugly fat girls. These are unkempt, unattractive and don't look good at all. Its like damn, bitch at least look like you haven't given up on life

Then you have your I'm so insecure about my weight that I'm gonna be a whore to any guy who gives me attention fat girls. they are so desperate and it's just pathetic. If they put in half as much effort into taking care of themselves as they did running behind guys who're just using them they'd be better off

And then there's the obnoxious fat girls with sh*tty attitudes. They are the first to hate on anyone else but it's world war 3 if you bring up their weight

Then you have the normal fat girls who are just trying to live. Nothing to say about them.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bigger girl. However, I've completely done away with my insecurities. Life is way too short to try to fit into some mold that society deems as perfect. The way I see it, people need to see themselves as beautiful, regardless of how they look. Skinny, fat, transgender, amputee, you name it. As for health, I don't believe anyone should exercise or diet just because they want to lose weight. It should be done because they want to be healthy. The fact is that some people are built to carry more weight, whereas some people are built to be petite. There's nothing wrong with that. I can walk over a mile just fine and I do it every day here on campus. My lunch consists of a grilled chicken sandwich and an apple with every meal. You'll rarely see me drinking soda. I'm not skinny, and that's just fine, because I love and accept my body as it is. I wouldn't starve it or drive it to the point of collapse just so I could satisfy our culture's need for every woman to have the "ideal body" that companies make millions of dollars selling.

Well thank you, I'm flattered. I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit of a feminist, so I'm a huge advocate for equality (Not just for women, but for men who feel they can't be feminine, for transgenders, for people of all shapes and sizes, ethnicities, beliefs, etc.) and I hate when cultures are limited by some ideal that is sold to us by industries that so obviously have an agenda: to make money off the insecurities of others.

Some of the nicest females I've ever met have been overweight. I've even had sex with a few that were a little on the larger side. I'm not sure that I would get into a serious relationship with a heavier gal though mainly because we'd both likely have very different lifestyles. I'm a bit of a health nut and that's seriously putting it lightly. I'd rather hold out for someone who will go out on the long hikes/jogs with my dog and I, someone who will understand my fast food gripes, someone who will enjoy all the healthier alternative food items I buy. Hell I would probably even have an issue getting serious with a girl who drinks soda...

So for me it's not so much a physical appearance problem, It's more of a health and lifestyle one.

I wouldn't date fat girls because they are fat... I am skinny and that just doens't work.. I want someone who can go on a bikeride and not get tired.. Someone who eats healthy and in effect looks healthy.. Plus girls always say that men are judgmental about them being fat.. Well do something about it.. you can always lose weight.. I am a short male and recieve far greater discrimination for being short then people do for being fat..The difference is, I cannot change how tall I am.. Fat people can change that aspect of their life.. If I could go to the gym and workout and gain a couple inches I would.. All I can do is bulk up.. which in the end just looks little goofy if your too big and short.

The fat girls that piss me off the most - are the one's who follow the " large and in charge" rule. Think they're the hottest sh*t to be sent to earth, and try to enforce their ideas on anyone because they're big and can push you around a bit.

The first thing I always think about fat girls is that they're probably insecure - and I wonder to myself if she knows how pretty she really is?

I like the fat girls who own their size - but also work to create the bodies they want via exercise or dieting.

They dont' let their weight hold them down from meeting new friends and guys - but still keep weight goals in mind.

then there are just the lovely so affectionate and warm big girls who can't lose weight due to medical issues - that you just adore because they'r eso sweet and friendly.

Those girls and the one's who own their weight are often the one's who have a decent dating life - some more than the snobby tooth pick girls who rely on their anorexia to be attractive...

Well because I am on the same side of the fence, I have compassion for people, fat or not. Especially when someone is really overweight like 600+ pounds. There are health conditions that cause people to be like that. Scientists are discovering new things about how our bodies work all the time. Not saying all people who are fat are like that.

I'm personally not 600+ pounds, I am fat, but not so fat you could pick me out of a crowd(if that makes sense).

Yes some people do eat a lot and bad food and don't take care of themselves. But not everyone who is fat. It's hard to put a number, because there are many people suffering from things that get undetected because that person if fast and doctors do have biases. There have been studies that say fat people get worse care from doctors. They don't have exact figures to say how many people are fat from conditions and those who are just fat because of lifestyle, because no two people are the same. One condition affects someone one way, and another person barely has any issues.

From suffering from a condition, I try to be compassionate to others. It's really hard to be compassionate though if one has not suffered from a condition. And being young myself, I know it's hard for people to understand if they are perfectly healthy. A lot of my friends have no clue.

Honestly, I really just think 'oh she's fat' and that's it. It's the same feeling (or rather, lack of feeling) taht would accompany the following thoughts: 'oh she's young' or 'oh she's wearing a hat' or 'oh it's raining outside.'

So basically I feel nothing. The fact that she is fat is just that to me - a fact. It has no effect on my life and therefore I don't think anything in particular about it.

I think bullying easy, unpopular targets is weaksauce. But at the same time, I don't find fat girls attractive, although there are chubby chasers. But I would say that if there's something more interesting about her and she initiated contact, I wouldn't necessarily deny a casual date with a fat girl, although she probably wouldn't need to worry about being pressured into sex. And as far as health conditions, it happens, but how often?

I find many fat people (guys and girls) have an entitlement mentality here in the United States. There are places in the world where people are starving and fat people continue to eat massive amounts of food, causing their health to deteriorate and generally have unpleasant personalities which are typified as being a "victim". No, you aren't a victim, you just lack self-control!

Being obese will make you depressed. I don't hate fat people as people, but their behavior and outlook on food is disgusting, selfish and wrong. I am also physically repulsed by anyone walking down the street who is really fat. It is an offense to the beauty which is the human body.

Those statements just don't jive. You also said fat people all overeat which actually isn't true. It may be true of some or even half, but some don't eat enough and put their body into starvation mode so it'll store calories instead of burn them. You also didn't address medical inability to lose.

Do you understand the difference between hatred and repulsion? Hate means I can't stand their souls and wish evil upon them. Repulsion means I pity their incredible lack of self-control and I am also visually turned off by the sight of an overweight person.

There are very few people who can't lose weight if they set their mind to it. I've seen people do it countless times before. Medical issues make up 10% at most of fat people. That still leaves 90% who are fat by choice.

Also, if you visit a country like Estonia or any of Eastern Europe, you'll notice where food prices are high and people walk instead of drive everywhere like here in the U.S., people are actually normal weight. You actually have to LOOK and LOOK HARD to find a fat person. You can go an entire day without finding one. We have normalized fat here in the U.S. to the point that people believe they have a medical condition when more often than not, it is diet/lack of exercise, not their thyroid.

You are accepting that no more than 50% of people who are overweight are there because of their own choice. Have you visited Europe? I have. You asked about what I thought about fat girls. I think they physically repulsive. From a sexual standpoint, not just a "have to view them because they are everywhere" point too. Between 13-20 million Americans are belived to have thyroid problems, a slight majority going towards women. There are 313m people in the U.S. with more women than men. Half of 313 is approximately 157. Take that number and add in 12 million women believed to have thyriod problems (not all of them gain weight either, others lose). That leaves, even with generous numbers only 7% of U.S. women with thyroid problems out of the total. My original ten percent was even more conservative.

Do I have to divide the numbers I posted below to explain to you as to why those few people who actually suffer with a real medical condition are the space goat for the vast majority of people who refuse to get their act together and exercise, get ride of processed foods and live a more healthy lifestyle? One final point that those who defend all people who fall under the overweight umbrella is that nobody actually ever asks about the feelings or normal or skinny people. Where did I say the government was subsidizing fat people? Nowhere. Priviate insurance costs subsidize fat people because everybody's premiums would be lower (including all healthy people, you and me too!) if the cost of business wasn't so high to service the overweight classes. I pay for my own insurance and along with smokers, drug addicts and others, I subsidize different areas of lack of self-control.

Low self-esteem? I see where you're going with that, but what about the one's who have a health issue like thyroid disease or diabetes and can't control their weight no matter how hard they try? I mean, you'd never know just by looking at them, so how do you make that judgement call? It seems too easy of an answer to simply say they must all have low self-esteem imo, but idk.

They don't all have self esteem issues, I was just highlighting those who could do something about it, but don't. I'm predisoped to b fat but I make that extra effort to go to gym at least four times a week in between class (8am- 5pm) every day except weekends. I know plenty of diabetics and people who have thyroid problems who make the sam effort.

obviously no one can tell just by lookimg at someone why they are fat, but if I see a fat girl in the line at Mc D's or Kfc I will naturally judge
