Thanky ou
it is true my calories were way to low . Today I started following a 1500 calorie plan and I workout for 2 hours and it was AMAZING !
HEHEHE
I guess not eating is never the way to go :D
Wish me luck
dont do energy shots or caffiene. they will get you addicted and won't help you sleep at night. I learned the hard way. I don't even drink coffee anymore I finally got rid of my addiction. I only drink green tea now.
but anyways the best way I get energy is from fruits and veggies and real nutritious food. I eat 2 hardboiled eggs in the morning before going to the gym I put some cayenne pepper and lemon juice on them its so good. and you get all the B vitamins you need for energy.
i also eat a banana, it has sugar that gets you going, and potassium that boosts energy levels.
apples are good too. squash/pumpkin has a lot of B vitamins.
i honestly feel so good and like an energizer bunny when I eat healthy real fruits and stuff.
OHH and fish! salmon! omega 3-6-9
of course you have no energy. you're consuming none! your body is going into conserve mode. you need to take in more healthy calories and wake your body up.
It's hard to have energy when you are cutting calories. My advice to lose weight would be to only drink water and substitute all breads in your meals for fruits. I lost 15 lbs just doing this not working out. Make sure you eat enough calories though because you will burn yourself and your body out. Also if you are looking to lose weight I recommend doing weight lifting, I know that your'e a girl so just do low weights to avoid getting a "bulky" look. Weight lifting is way more effective way to lose weight than running/jogging/etc.
Caffeine for cardio! Did you know caffeine use to be banned in the Olympics? Yup! Because it a great energizer and many athletes were taking advantage of it pre-olympics.
A cup of coffee can give you a lot of energy for a little amount of calories. So if you're cutting, caffeine is a nice little addition to your diet to keep you energized and finishing your workouts almost as strongly as you would if you weren't cutting. ^^
Definitely recommend throwing it into your pre-workout consumption.

Here is a massive tip for burning calories and fat. I have found that since I've been hitting weight training really hard I have really chiselled my body to what I wanted. To burn fat and calories you need for muscle! Seriously if I ran I would easily burn probably twice as much as I did before aha
1200 calorie diet is really only for sedentary people who are trying to lose weight without exercise. People integrating an exercise regimen into their plan have completely different nutritional requirements. Their calorie and, more specifically, carbohydrate requirements, are much greater. Following a strict exercise regimen while on a 1200 calorie diet is only starving your body.
If your working out make sure you get enough protein so your body can build muscle and carbs is what gives you energy at the gym. I always drink a glass or juice before the gym and it seems to help but I only workout for like 40 minutes usually. If you there for 2 hours consider complex carbs like whole grains.
Yeah I think you gain muscle from walking but not like you would from resistance training.
Eat normal! And eat healthy. If you eat good food, you will have energy. Perhaps make it a little less food, but raise in quality. Just make sure you have all vitamins and what your body needs.
Then just ignore you don't have energy. Do what you have energy for.
Calorie counting is bs in my opinion, just eat healthy and stay away from bad-fats and salt.
If you're cutting to the point that your energy is drained, that's a tad counterproductive because you can't work as hard.
imo 1500 calories is still far too low.
Im aiming to get at least twice that a day.
well I need to lose fat and I'm a woman and we burn less calories . Calorie reduction is a must if I want to lose fat.
Wrong.
Oh so wrong.
Losing fat is very simple. Burn more calories than you take in. You don't need to reduce your calories for that to a level such that its unhealthy. All you have to do is do more exercise. The much healthier option.
If you raise it to like 1400-1600 you might end up doing your exercise and losing more weight. A lot of girls have problems with 1200. You don't need to be at 1200 to lose weight... It is the bare minimum amount of calories you have to intake.
good luck! It will work trust me. Seen it a number of times. =)
You answered your own question. You lowered your calories and started working out. That's why you have no energy.
Eat something with carbs in it, that should give you more energy but if you are looking to loose weight then I'm not sure what you should do.
Try eating lots of power bars and things like that, they are like meals on the go. Good luck!
You have to calculate your calories by your exercise level, I suggest you consult a nutritionist
you need to up your callorie intake more then that but to loose weight you have to watch your CARBS. carbs are waht make you fat!
yes but carbs are also a necessity if your workout regimen is heavily cardio oriented. carbs make you fat if you're inactive but if you are active they provide the fuel you need to get through high intensity cardio/endurance activities.
Yes, eating more helps. Also, eat carbs before workouts and lean protein after.
Look online for energy booster pills
