Consuming natural proteins instead of whey and other artificial proteins what difference will it make?

my diet usually consists of Milk,oats,eggs,chicken,goat/lamb meat,nuts,brown rice (I'm not drastic over protein I only take the normal recommended level )...these food stuffs give me sufficient quantity of protein and also the variety gives me different types of amino acids ...what difference will it make if I take these artificial protein I mean why people take it wen they can eat these natural food stuffs and they are cheaper in comparison to these powders tooo...
