How do you cope with it until you lose weight?

I'm talking about losing weight.

How do you cope with being overweight until you become in better shape. Things like looking fat in the gym, having a hard time finding nice clothes, looking bad in clothes, etc...

I gain weight very quickly rather than gradually, so suddenly I noticed that I've become out of shape. This is why I'm asking this question.
How do you cope with it until you lose weight?
