I have small dots on my arms and legs, do guys care about this when looking for a girlfriend?

I'm somewhat insecure because I have dots on my skin that look rather unappealing... is that a turn off for guys? Should I be worried about this? I'm worried about taking off my clothes and being exposed o.0

"as long as it's less than 3"? really? That's funny. I have a bunch! and since I am very fair skinned they are very visible... They are not mores nor freckles. I have no idea what they are. They just appeared gradually out of nowhere and now they just exist! as a part of me. They look like small reddish dots.


So if it's more than 3, I'm screwed? o.0

Back to my question.. if you were interested in a girl and later found out or discover she has reddish dots on her skin.. would this be a major factor.. and make you lose interest in her...as in.. would you re-think dating her?

Scleroderma is a skin condition which is autoimmune and represented majorly by the appearance of red spots on skin. The red spots may be uniform but the size may vary with time. The redness may be as a result of hardening of the skin caused by collagen, a protein. The condition is not a serious one although it may sometimes be life threatening. Although dermatitis has been seen to be pronounced by presence of red spots on skin, it is important that individuals do not think that all red spots on skin spell a dermatological condition. Rashes are the term that is commonly used to refer to red spots on skin. Some rashes are as a result of infection while others could be as a result of change in temperature and other environmental conditions. It is important that individual take concern on appearance of red spots on skin due to some of the underlying conditions they may be indicating although it should not be a cause of panic when red spots on skin appear

in response your question, it depends on how bad the condition is your talking about. it would be best to post picture. its very hard to give to an answer on just a description. a picture tells a 1000words.

You should worry more about exposing it to the sun. A normal guy who's into you won't bother about this at all. He might ask what it is, but that would be it.

You should just go and see a dermatologist, in order to know how to behave in the sun and alikes, though.

i can't be sure, but you might have keratosis pilaris... it is a harmless skin condition that runs in families. if you have very dry skin, a lotion 10% urea could help.

like Serotriptomine said I want to know if they are moles or freckles. I don't like moles but as long as it's less than 3 it's not too bad. freckles are fine, I have a few dark freckles and they don't bother me.

everyone is different and some guys might not care either way.

i not too fussy, what on what a girls body looks like. your never going to find the perfect partner, with the body you like. if I really like her, then I will just put up with it. I am insecure about my body. I can't stand having a little belly on me. I think girls won't like it. a few spots on your body, won't put guys off. if it does, then that guys will never have a girlfriend.

I think your safe, if I was attracted to you, a few dots wouldn't put me off. none of us perfect.

i think I know what you mean? I think the only to get rid of them. is go to your doctor or pharmacist and they might liquid nitrogen to burn them off. your doctor might be able to give something to get rid of them. I can't remember the name of them.

Thank you. I have tried to research what I have.. a lot! because I'm not comfortable with it. However, I think it's more of a cosmetic problem rather than a serious health problem.. Which is good I suppose but it's still an eye sore, and has changed my personality a great deal! :( sucks!

Unless you've been to the doctor I wouldn't wave it away, there are a lot of things that can cause...a lot of things. :P Don't get worked up over it, but if you have numerous like you say you do, it won't hurt to check if you're covered that is.

I have them too and according to my Dermatologist they are a sign of extreme skin sensitivity. People with it should generally stay out of the sun for extended periods of time.
