How to get rid of back acne?

Ok so here are the details- I need a remedy that works well and is inexpensive-preferably something that I can do at home. I don't have too much extra money to spare

I remember how going to the beach in the Atlantic and hanging out in the waves would dry out my back acne pretty well back in the day when I had back acne. The pimples would stop being swollen and sore, and the plug would protrude more than it was before. I think that salt water might do the trick then. Either that, or UV rays.

I don't know about any studies show that show salt water helping fight acne, but UV rays have been proven to kill the bacteria in your acne and reduce blemishes. However, UV rays are also poisonous to us. So, I don't think that the dermatologists recommend people using UV rays to get rid of acne.

However, there's also evidence that violet light can also fight acne. Violet light is not as effective Ultra Violet light, but it still works and they actually sell purple lights for you to use on your acne. But, like you said, you don't have a lot of extra money and e purple lights seem like a waste of it.

So, I recommend that you use some of the other approaches that other people have suggested, but also make sure to go to the beach and get some sunlight. I honestly think that ocean salt water dried out my zits, but I haven't looked it up if that's been proven. However, I do know that the UV rays will help with your acne. But, can only go but so far without causing you harm.

So, it's an approach that you would only want to use in moderation.

Wash your back regularly. Make sure that no left over soap/conditioner is left. This can cause breakouts. You might want to try washing your hair then immediately flipping it over and wrapping it in a towel so it doesn't touch your back just in case. If you sweat often then this can cause breakouts as well. Wear light shirts that allow the area to breathe. Exfoliate your skin and used soaps/creams with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. You might want to invest in a scrub type thing with a long handle so you can reach the areas that are hard to get by yourself. Keep your clothes clean and try to decrease your stress. Eating healthy can help as well.

You could always use a body wash with salycylic acid in it (the stuff in acne wash). I like the nutrogena body wash!
