My wrist hurts?.. Really weird..

Okay so about maybe 6 months ago I was in a lacrosse game and I almost got in a fight with another girl. She hit me across the stomach With her stick and she also hit me across my right wrist(like on top of my hand and my fingers an the outside of my wrist) right after it happened I couldn't really hold my Lax stick Because it was hurting.. A lot. So I was wearing a brace for a while, I never went to a doctor. Well it's still hurting like hell and I can't really bend, straighten, or twist it with it it popping or cracking and hurting A lot. I have had 3 knee surgeries in the past 6 months so I'm on crutches and my wrist is starting to bug me when I walk around. And my fingers are very strange too, I can't lift my backpack without me almost crying. I don't even know how to explain the kind of pain, but it's there. So I don't think I fractured it, but it is kind of swollen( there's no change in the color) it hurts to press on the spot right above the ball of my wrist if you know what I mean haha. So if anyone has any answers that would be great.. Thank you!(:

Okay so.. I just dislocated my wrist.. My dad helped me pop it back into place and I'm wearing a brace now, I think I should go to the doctors yeah? Hahaha

Okay.. So I went to the doctor today and guess what?.. I tore a ligament in my wrist.. So I'm in a cast which sucks because I'm on crutches so now I'm in a wheelchair..

I saw the title saying "My wrist hurts" and my brain went somewhere else for a second.

Anyway, it sounds serious enough to see a doctor. For now I would suggest icing it from time to time, along with anything else that might hurt. Then tomorrow, a doctor. Seriously though, the internet is not meant to replace doctors.

Anyway, Rest, Ice, maybe pain meds, if it gets bad, but still see a doctor about this.

I didn't even hit her back because I would of been kicked out of the tournament, I just got in her face and asked her was her f*cking problem was.. No big deal

Eeh, sounds like you broke one of the small bones in the wrist. They can take months to heal and sometimes have to be removed because they'll never really heal. You may have to wear a brace or even a cast for a long time..

No one can tell you without an Xray, so go get one!

You might want to wait for surgery, but get it checked out. Sometimes letting it remain an unclosed fracture can lead to severe problems. You've already waited too long, I think. Find out what's going on!

First I think you should go to a doctor and have them check it out. They might give you an x ray and see something you didn't. Or, you may have some kind of arthritis in your wrist. I know my grandmother does and I heard it skips a generation and my right wrist hurts sometimes when I'm doing excersizes more so than it should so it could be that or go to a doctor first and see.

you could have either carpel tunnel or tendinitis...i had a similar injury without the fight...i still have that problem actually but when I went for the surgery and they opened my wrist to release the tendons, the were actually tearing already...sorry to scare you but that's what happens... link will show you...so don't be afraid to check with your doctor

Go to a doctor and get it checked out, you should have gone then to see what was up but the past is the past. And having to use crutches can't exactly be great for your injured wrist either so that's another reason to go. It's not like ignoring it will help and they won't do anything without consent anyways so it's not as if you'll be forced into anything if the first doctor doesn't explain things in a way you or your parents think is accurate.

If you need a cast get the cast cause if you ignore it and stay on crutches you risk damaging it further.

Yeah I was using a brave with my crutches and my wrist hurts like hell I can barley put any weight on it..

you could have fractured it slightly, that's possible. or she could have damaged a nerve in your wrist. it is important you see a specialist to check it out for you. it could become a lifetime problem unless you get it fixed while you are young.

I have nerve damage in my knee from my surgeries so I take mess that are supposed to help heal the nerves.. Do you think it will help with my wrist too I that is the case?

nerve damage is lifelong because nerves cannot regenerate. fibromyalgia is a condition where the nerves are overactive. it is very painful and life long.

if it is nerve damage(which I'm not saying it is) it would help.

go get it checked out.

It's not the inner nerves just the surface ones.. They heal haha. And Toban, the vicoden doesn't get rise of my wrist pain it's really weird like it only works for my knees.. Kinda, I think I'm used to the meds now that they don't do to much anymore hahaha

well the first thing any sane person will tell you is to get an xray by a doctor, the second thing is if that's your 3rd knee surgery in the past 6 months maybe its time to play a less vigorous sport
