Trending & News Cooked Salmon.
Two fillet of FRESH salmon, if it's frozen, it loses omega three's. I has a seasoning of sea salt, a little paprika, small drop of Cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic or garlic powder, and some basil. Then I take a pan and heat it up to med and put in 1/2 tablespoon of butter and put the fillet in it. I cook each side for about 1-2 minutes and I flip it. Then I put on a lid or top so it'll cook the fish like a convection oven. This keeps the salmon from drying up. I plate the salmon (without the excess oil or butter) and squeeze from lemon juice on it.
This meal has some good fat (omega 3's), a lot of protein, full daily value of Vitamin D, half the daily value of B14 and Niacin, and an excellent source of B6 and magnesium.
Yay! I LOVE salmon! My family goes to Alaska every year for the salmon run to stock up! It's so much fun!
Salmon is by far my favorite fish. Delicious and easy to cook!
Ahhhh...I LOVE salmon.
WOW, you're like an executive chef.
You have GOT to come to my place sometimes!
LOL!
My favorite way to prepare salmon is baking it with maple syrup- it's really easy and so sweet!
I never thought of that.
I personally believe that the better something is for you, the better it will taste. Like, when your body really craves the nutrients in a particular dish, it will taste all the better. Crude tastes like sweet, fat, and sugar don't really do the trick one you really know what great food tastes like.
ok sorry I re-read your question and maybe I missed the point
Wow...I love your point!
I never thought of it that way!
I don't know if this counts as a "dish" but I'm a really big fan of spinach smoothies. Yes, spinach. In a smoothie. It tastes a lot better than it sounds, trust me! You won't even be able to taste the spinach. What I do is take some ice cubes, some fruit (usually half a banana and strawberries, you can use whatever you like here), half a cup of juice (I use orange and apple juice mixed together but again, use whatever you like), and finally add a big handful of raw spinach and blend it all until it's smooth. The green color is so pretty and it tastes really good too. I make this once or twice a week. My parents have started making it too since I introduced them to the idea.
Wow...so awesome. I was hesitant at first, but now I would love to try your idea. THANKS!
My favorite is grilled chicken bites with pomegranate sauce and veggies ..soy sauce works amazing too. (you can also replace the chicken with rice or pasta , but never mix them all together )
Another favorite is grilled fish with salad
Fruit salad with yoghurt, honey and cinnamon
Baba ghanough .. which is basically grilled eggplant paste with onion or garlic and olive oil .. you can also add some tahina but that's a lot of calories ( I guarantee it tastes AMAZING )
Hummus soup
Onion soup
I could go on and on really :)
Stir-fry: onion, cauliflower, broccoli, shiitake mushroom, green onions, stir fried in a soy or peanut sauce, topped with cilantro. I usually just eat a big plate of veggies like this without rice or noodles. It's super delicious!
Smoothie: blend three cups of fresh spinach, slowly adding water as needed to get it moving. Then add a frozen banana and any number of frozen berries; I like strawberry and blackberry. Add two ice cubes and extra water if needed. It's really good for you :) especially with flax seed meal.
Okay, stir-fry, what oils do you use? Olive, peanut, corn?
I usually use a nonstick pan so I don't need to use too much oils. I usually stir fry it in a little sesame oil.

Yes! It's called nutmeal, I have it for breakfast almost every morning.
Recipe:
1/2 cup almonds
1/2cup pecans
1/2 cup milk
1/2 banana
Cinnamon and salt to taste
You grind everything together in a food processor and then heat it on the stove.
Then you can add any other toppings you want. I usually use brown sugar and blueberries.
Wow, it sounds cool!
Ok :D
Oh dear, my mom would be able to write you a book...
Everything is healthy to eat, provided you don't eat too much of it ;) But keeping general diets in mind I'd suggest basically any stir fry. They're very nutritious because the vegetables are cooked very quickly so they'll retain a lot of vitamins. And yes, they're totally delicious!
Hummus is olive oil and chickpeas ith spcies, orignally Palestinian in origin. Quite popular in the US these days, it's in all the supermarkets.
Polenta is just ground cornmeal, a staple in Italy, now a popular health food in the US.
Okay, what are chick peas? How do they taste?
Italians call them garbanzos, you find athem in restaurants in salads or at salad bars all the time!
Okay, do they taste salty?
Hummus, yes, not polenta, you need to season it.
Okay,is it safe to compare polenta to grits?
WEll, it's so much richer and smoother than grits, you can bake it up into a kind of coffee cake.
i'm simple-my favorite would be an egg white omelette made with olive oil, plus toast,or-french toast only with egg whites+a sh*t load of vegetables (lettuce,cucumbers,tomatoes-okay that's a fruit)
Don't worry, I still think a tomato should be a vegetable.
Fresh veetble smoothies, almost any kind, with fruit as sweetener.
Pabellon criollo, Venezuela's national dish!
Mmmm..that sounds nice! I would like to give that a shot.
What fruits and vegetables do you use?
TONS.
I make my own tasty diet-friendly high-protein burritos, pastas with tons of veggies, burgers, it's all good =)
How do you make it high protein?
Meats by nature are high protein. Hard part is keeping it lean.
Hummus is ground up chickpeas, usually used as a dip. Polenta is a type of of pasta made from corn meal rather than wheat.
ever tried the traditional japanese breakfast?
it's healthy and tasty <3
making it myself every morning ^-^
What is it?
Wow, it looks so delicious. I wish I could jump in the picture!
I highly recommend grilled bananas. They make an excellent side dish.
Grilled Bananas...that is different for me.
plantains are good too, not as sweet
yes I love plantains!
I've always had a weakness for fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce.
Buffalo steak and burgers.
- low in fat

I love meat and this is a great alternative to cow
Hmmm, that is a great idea!
Is there a befier taste to buffalo than cow?
Is Bison an option too?
*BLUSH* Oh,same thing, right. Thank you. lol
