Oh certainly, you're going to balloon out. I mean you may as well just resign yourself to a career as a goddam sumo wrestler right now.
No of course it didn't screw over you're entire diet. Chill the f*** out. I recently did a workout/diet routine for about 3 months and lost fifty pounds. Was I perfectly behaved though the whole ordeal? Not at all. I had my days of relapse. The main thing is to not get discouraged from things like this and basically just resign yourself to failure. Yeah, it's not good to deviate, but it's also not the end of the world. Try your damnedest not to do it, but if you have just be careful not to in the future. Don't beat yourself up about it though unless you want the entire journey to be a miserable one.

You're allowed a cheat meal every once in a while. Use it as a treat for the hard work you've been putting in in the gym. Just don't do it too often.
There is nothing wrong with having something you like once in a while. The only problems arise when the bad food are integrated into every meal.
Diets don't work, but sticking to a healthier eating plan while still taking time to enjoy foods you love once in a while is okay. People can lose weight by starving themselves, but it's never a permanent solution. The weight loss is temporary.
Make sure you are feeding your body enough to function and giving yourself the proper nutrients.
Having fries is not going to screw up your weight loss plan. It's okay to indulge once in a while! :)
Don't beat yourself up over it, it's not a big deal at all. That couldn't have been more than 500 calories. To gain one pound you need to eat 3600 calories. Stop feeling bad.
If you aren't even a little flabby then why are you on a diet? Please tell me you don't have an eating disorder. I struggled with one and it sucks and you do so much harm to yourself and your body. It's not worth it.

Nah, it's not that bad. You're allowed cheat days or meals and you should allow yourself to have a day or meal to cheat.
You committed a great sin
