I had my right ear surgically removed back in 2000, and then replaced. I've had nonstop pain in the scar since. Can't really wear glasses, and any kind of pressure hurts. Is there something I can use to reduce the pain?
You may benefit from a neurologist. If it's really terrible for you I've heard you can have nerves severed. Won't feel a thing.
A psych teacher of mine got a nerve in her back severed after many failed surgeries and going to all sorts of back doctors.

have you been having this pain for 12 years and not contacted the doctor?
Try just taking low level pain meds like Tylenol

For me, tylenol or advil usually does the trick!
