30% of you calories should come from protein, 40% of your calories should come from carbohydrates and 30% should come from fat. I tell everyone they should eat a breakfast in it with protein. I also sugjest eating a lunch with protein and a dinner with protein and stick to about 3-4 ounces of some kind of lean meat like grilled chicken breast, turkey, beans, or some kind of lean red meat no more then twice a week.

About 200 grams per day (lean body mass in kilograms x 2.75). That should be taken in 6-7 evenly balanced meals through out the day. Your body needs protein constantly because your body fixes the muscles up to 5 days.
Just to be clear I'm talking about real home cooked meals here, meat, fish, chicken, pork etc. Protein powders are only bad substitutes for those meats, nothing more.

i was always taught to eat a piece of meat the size of your fist everyday. I don't believe in protein powders. powders are very hard on the kidneys, eat a steak. too much protein is bad for you.
two big servings of meat usually in the form of steak, ribs, or cheeseburger. afternoon and night. x)
Protein alone won't help you bulk up. You need amino acids to process the protein.
