Does he like you if he constantly tries to "fit you in his schedule?"

Okay, another debate with friends here. I know this guy who from his accounts is an extremely busy guy. I've told him many times not to worry if he can't meet me and I've sent him many emails wishing him well, however he continues to insist to meet and hang out on a weekly basis. I know he is dating another girl so I am not sure why he insists on meeting every week. Also, he will only meet at times that are convenient for him, and he makes sure to tell me that the only reason he will be in my area is for work/study purposes. Some of my girlfriends believe that he is unsure and wants to keep me in the picture. I have a hard time letting go because lately he insists on meeting and is more accommodating and I just don't really know what to make of it. Thoughts?

Has he been "all business" in your conversations with him, or has he been flirting? He could be waiting for you to give him a sign for him to cheat on his current woman. This is not the kind of man you want to be dating, if this is the case. If he has just been serious about studying and not made an moves, it sounds fairly harmless. His failure to be accommodating when it comes to timeframes when you can meet doesn't sit well with me. At the very least he's selfish, at worst he's keeping you as a "backup" option. If you actually get something out of your study sessions, fine. Making a relationship out of it, I doubt it.

Sometimes he is all business but when it comes to me he teases me a lot and flirts and he always wants to know if I am dating someone. He is a nice guy, but seems very insecure. Lately he always wants to meet for dinner or go to the gym together. In fact, every time he is around my area he wants to hang out but he's never asked me out on a date. Our friendhip/relationship is a bit ambiguous and I can't seem to figure out what he gets out of meeting with me.

He's dating another girl. Most likely there is issues with that relationship, or he just wants a new fling. I recommend staying away from him except for getting together for business. If you can honestly do the work yourself, I would recommend that route.
