Everybody has a natural body weight that their body likes to maintain under normal circumstances. Yours may be about 136 or so--which is definitely NOT fat. At 5'6-1/2" you definitely don't need to lose 10 lbs. Plus, what is wrong with a size 6? That is actually a relatively small size. A 4, or worse a 2, would be too skinny small. If you are fit clothing size is limited by bone structure, your skeleton just isn't going to shrink.
I think what is probably happening with you is something that is common with many people--they see their body as much worse than others see it. 260 lb body builders with sick bulging muscles take steroids and spend hours in the gym because they think they look puny, and 90 lb anorexics diet and exercise so intensively because they think they still look fat. Sometimes you get a similar thing with tanning with some people who spend a few days a week in a booth to be several shades darker than their skin wants to be because they start to feel like they look pasty even after a few days when their skin is not at its absolute darkest. In some cases this is distorted self-perception is called body dysmorphia.
You are not at those extremes that mentioned, but you do seem to have a distorted self-perception and the misplaced belief that a 125 lbs and a size 2 or a size 4 will make you the most attractive you could possibly be and therefore you will be happier.
Without seeing you, judging on the numbers you gave I would wager that you are probably already at your most attractive ideal size, maybe even on the thin side.

you have no sympathy from me, and I hope no one else on this site. at a size 6 and 5'6.5" height, you are the envy of a vast majority of girls. I'm actually kinda pissed that you wrote this because while you're whining about being a size 6, girls who are a size 12 or 14 are trying to learn to accept their bodies, and when they read this, how does it make them feel? it makes them feel like cows.
p.s. if you are big boned, then maybe you can't a size 6, maybe it's just how your frame is built and that can't be changed. and what advice do you expect to get? for someone who's trying to drop pounds, you're doing everything right.
you sound like the type of girl who will never be satisfied with their body, no matter what you weigh, there will always be something that could improve. just work on loving your body for what it is.

You can still gain weight if you are eating healthy but too much, try to eat less, other than that, I have no idea what's going on.
I'm your height and 155 pounds and I don't think I'm fat at all, I wouldn't worry about it so much. You worry about it too much. You're not fat at 136 and 5'6".
