Websites with advice on "if your ex is over you". Not true?

For anyone who has looked to get their ex back and read up on the "signs". Don't you think it's not necessarily true? My ex and I broke up a month and a week ago. I've missed her so much, but I've been no contact. When I see her, or when there's stuff on my Facebook, it's looked like I'm completely over her. But I'm nowhere close. Maybe it's my ego or pride that I want her to contact me first. And maybe she's the same way because she's always been stubborn.

All those websites saying tell tale signs are that the other hasn't contacted you, talked to you, etc. it's not true for me. So I think maybe it's not true for everybody.

Since my ex broke up with me I have looked at COUNTLESS articles, blogs, and websites just looking for ANY sign that he would come back. I am starting to realize that WHATEVER will be will be and I have to STOP. I really am starting to drive myself insane by analyzing everything he said, did, when he reaches out...I think I really lost it when he texted me HAPPY EASTER on Sunday and I GOOGLED "Why would Ex send Happy Easter text?" WTF! I am a 37 year old woman GOOGLING THAT?!?!?!? I guess what I am trying to say is that if two people are missing each other then the other one will not know UNLESS they TELL them. We can sit and hope and wonder and wish on STARS, but if they want us back or we want them back it will BE if it is meant to BE. As I am typing this I am really doing it for my own sanity at this time too. :(

It's hard to be sane lol. I haven't gotten a text from her either. She even got her friend to get her stuff back without me knowing. Can't understand it :/

Its heartbreaking. I hate it. I know I am worth so much MORE, yet I obsess. I met a nice gentleman (wasnt looking to meet anyone, just happened) on Friday night. He is so successful and king and handsome, and I felt SICK even thinking about moving forward.

Unfriend her. This may heal you faster cos you won't get to see or expect to see any updates,photos, news and so on of hers.
