Should he leave his number on a restaurant receipt?

I'm sure that any girl that has ever worked in the food industry has gotten the ol' phone number on the back of the bill ploy. So, for curiosity's sake, does this tactic work? Or is it cheesy no matter how attractive he is. Should he man up and ask for your number instead?

I'd go for B, at least I'd still have time to think whether to text him or not. Haha!

Coz if he chooses to go and ask for my number then I'd be in total shock (but flattered lol) and after I give my number to him (let's just say I did, lol) then hours after that I'd be in total agony wondering if he'd really text me or am I just blowin my head up. Haha

I would rather have face to face interaction, but assuming there already would have been some (as his waitress, etc.) it would be OK to leave a number on the receipt.

Same thing happened to my boyfriend before he met me. A girl that worked at Arby's wrote her number on the receipt. And he dated her for a month.

I'm surprised to see that girls don't think its that bad. I would have thought the exact opposite lol
