That might be possible, if you are getting help from experts, but otherwise that would be very unhealthy to loss that much weight so fast. Even with help, most people wouldn't be able to lose 10 pounds every month, unless they were extremely fat to begin with. I think that 30 pounds in three months, would be an unreasonable goal. Realistically you might be able to lose half of that.

If you were 50, you could lose 30.
Are you 30 lbs above 'normal' or 30 lbs above slim?
It gets harder to lose weight as you get to having lower body fat levels.
That said I'm down more than 20 lbs in the last couple months and my boyfriend is lower then it has been in decades.
When I was dieting and losing my weight, it only took me about 6 weeks to lose 30 pounds. So yes, 16 weeks should be plenty of time to shed 30 pounds. That's less than 2 pounds a week. Very doable :-)
Good luck!
You can lose more than that if you put your mind to it. I'm able to lose 2 pounds a day just from walking a lot. And I actually lost 8 pounds in a week once.

good luck and stay healthy :)Most of it, but you'll have to have a strict but manageable diet, one that gives you exact amounts of calories..enough balanced nutrition as well.
THat is a lot of weight to lose in a short time. You can do it, but it will be challenging.
30lbs in 17 weeks is ~2lbs a week, that's definitely possible with consistency and discipline. 8-)
With a lot of effort it is possible.
