Is it possible to use Acne medicine on other parts on the body besides the face?

Other parts of the body like, the back, arms, legs and wherever else you can get acne. Is it just as safe as if used on the face? Thanks!

Absolutely.

My cousin used to have acne on his back. He used my Clean & Clear dual action moisturizer (treats & helps prevent pimples) while he was staying with me for a short time, has been using it ever since. It helped him a lot.

And as she mentioned below, most companies make acne body washes now, even Proactiv.

Acne medicine - ask your doctor who's prescribed it since some areas of the skin can be sensitive.

Yup! There are body washes especially made for acne. Try looking for these brands: Neutrogena or Sephora.

uhhhhhh I suppose yeah. your face is prob more sensitive then most of your body, so I assume it would probably be fine

I believe it's safe for most any topical application, though I once rubbed some on my liver and felt decidedly unwell for several days.

Store brand stuff you should be OK with, unless it say otherwise on the medication box. If it is prescription then you might wanna check with your dermatologist.

I tried putting my strong as f*** acne medication on my chest once. It was horrible, because it dried out my skin so much and it was very noticeable. So I wouldn't recommend that. They have special acne meds for your body/
