No. Not at all. Low carb will only damage you in the long run.
You need nutrients and less processed food. Ideally you should cut out all processed foods if you're 100% serious about changing.
Have you tried going on a juice feast/cleanse?
If you haven't, I highly suggest you do. Juice cleanses basically are allow you to get everything you need everyday to live, nutrients and whatnot. Everything except fiber. The thing is your body already has fiber, so it goes searching for it and ends up doing some "house cleaning" as well, releasing toxins out of your body, and voila! Pretty quick way to loose weight, but you end up being healthier, which is an added bonus, and really more important.

No, you can just do partial, that's what I do anyway. I permit myself to eat around 50 carbs a day and can still lose a bit of weight. The main thing is to avoid sweets, bread, pasta and rice. Besides that, you can eat pretty much anything you want. If you exercise your muscles and eat plenty of protein, you will not lose muscle weight, but only fat weight.
Of course, there are other alternatives, but this is the only one that worked for me.
Do you have to ... well probably not, and 'complete low carb' is a pretty strong statement.
For some people, low carb dieting is the easiest way for them to lose weight.
Its to a large extent calories in calories out. There are a few advantages to going lower carb, especially if you're not working out a lot, one is that lower carb diets for many people are easier to stick with because they don't leave you hungry.
Going initially onto a low carb diet involves shifting to ketosis, for some people this is easier then others. I've known others who - like beastman - do very poorly with low carbs.
It's not for everyone.
I can't do high intensity exercise without some carbs.
when I went low carb I felt like an absolute pile of shit. no energy whatsoever, when I cut carbs out. so I had a suspicion that my carb intake had something to do with it so I started eating a normal amount of carbs and difference was night and day, as iam quite an active person

Honestly, I have successfully dieted and lost weight just by counting calories... simple as that!
They say you have to consume 3500 calories less than your body burns to lose one lb.No, you do not. And you would not lose a pound of fat in a day. I'm 19% body fat, used to be high 20's and I never ever went low carb.
Dieting is stupid just eat right and exsersise that's all it takes.
Nah, the amount of calories you eat on a daily basis is what will determine if you loose or gain weight.
