-What are you planning to wear?
-What is your current routine?
I'm pretty slim, but I'm just planning to tone up even more.
Funny thing is.. I only lift donuts but people think I work out already.
A BA will be given :)
I don't really bother with trying to look acceptable anymore, attempting to put on a decent amount of muscle is pretty pointless, it would take years of hard training and dieting for me to even begin to look like I lift weights. Like 95%+ of guys at the weights section of the gym still look like skinny phaggots, so its pretty pointless really.
In other respects I'm kind of lucky that my body doesn't really store too much fat, I seem to stay quite lean no matter what I eat or how little exercise I do. I'll probably go for a run a few times a week during spring to get my lower abs to show, if I can be bothered that is.
I'm always working out to improve my body, So now , I just do it in a stronger and more intense workouts. Recently for the past 2 weeks, I've been burning up to 1000 per workout. Its long but brings in a lot of good results, I dropped about 10 lbs. (176 now).
I'm mostly an athletic build but I prefer to drop a few more lbs then I want to work on my abs only. Tired of getting anymore muscles because it just makes me look bigger. I've been wearing slimmer clothing which shows off my body through out the winter but I have some summer clothing I want to wear that shows off my body better and hopefully beach body too.
Thanks for the BA And good luck with your training =)
I always try to stay in shape. What you're doing is good because you've got time. It drives me NUTS when people ask how to lose weight for summer when it's May!
By summer I would like to have a little more muscle tone and would love to be confident enough to wear a crop top. People say I have the stomach for it, but I gotta get there myself. Currently I lift weights 3 times a week and do cardio on days in between. I'm thinking about doing boxing again. Such a nice workout.
It needs to be summer now lol. So tired of snow and -20 degrees.
Good luck! You've got the right idea.
Current routine
Monday: 5AM Pilates class
Tuesday: 60 minutes elliptical
Wednesday: 5AM Pilates class
Thursday: 60 minutes elliptical
Friday: Mat Pilates (1 hour)
Saturday: 60 minutes elliptical
Sometimes I do switch the elliptical out for fitness classes that my schools health center offers. They offer power yoga, cycling, kick boxing.
I'm trying to switch it up...
I need to figure out what exactly I want to do. There's 6 weeks until spring break. So I want to amp up my routine. Maybe add in some light weights.

I can say I'm planning on it but the truth is, I have quite the love-hate relationship with the gym and weight lifting lol. I dread it, but once I actually bring myself to go and begin lifting, I love it! It's weird...
The other night, I just started lifting again and I'm still sore, haha. But it's good. It's been a while, although I have been doing some cardio lately. Still need to get up there more often... My work and class schedule are pretty favorable this semester tho, so I should be getting up there a lot these next few months.
I fully intend on being better about it, that's for sure. Now is the perfect time!
Shoot I love the gym when I wake up I can't wait to start pumping iron I love the feeling I get when every one watches me and the other people who know what we are doing. You could call me a burn junkie because I love it when my muscles get really tight and feel like they are going to pop off and feel like they are burning.
Body building or working out is a life time commitment once you start you need and have to keep going. I always body build every day of every week all the time as such I am always really toned but I am kicking it into overdrive so I can get bigger and stronger to prepare for my new job of being a physical fitness expert and personal trainer. At the moment I weight probably about 150lbs or more and have 5% or less body fat so I am in extremely good shape I have been body building for over 5 years and do not plan on stopping.
Well I want to lose weight to become healthier and stronger. I want muscles but not to be buff. I've lost over 20 lbs so far. Wearing clothes , such as a two piece is what's motivating. me. Plus you're only young once. I want to push my body to see all it can do while I can.
well I've been living the healthy lifestyle as best as I can passed 2 years, lost 90 pds still wanna lose more weight, maybe another 10-15pds (baby fat). trying to improve my strength but its been hard passed 6 months to find time between work and school but I've managed to squeeze in workouts here and there and on weekends. my goal is more strength and endurance, aesthetics will follow
'Funny thing is.. I only lift donuts but people think I work out already' -My problem exactly. I'm already redicoulsly toned even though I've never set foot in a gym. However I am thinking of tying it out simply because going would give me some kind of routine and working out can only be good for you.
I train 3 days a week doing complex-based strength training with sandbags and suspension trainers. My goal has nothing to do with looks but revolves entirely around increasing strength, balance, coordination, and endurance. In the warmer months I set up my agility ladder in my yard at least 2x a week and do drills with it for additional cardio and agility training.
Very nice I body build 7 times a week working my chest, back and legs twice a week chest and back on the same day along with shoulder/trap day and arm day. With focus on endurance and strength training light days lower weight high rep count like 15 min max 30 reps heavy days very high weight low reps around 6-8 reps. and man do I love that tight burning feeling by the time I'm done my body feels destroyed lol. This is along with my martial arts training which I do quite often
I have more of a consistent health routine I work at. It's actually not really based on getting a hot bod either.
I'm planning a two year work out session, so I can become something that I'm Inside, but not outside.
i am. I already started. I'm currently working on a home workout program that is eight weeks long. then I'm gonna start metabolic training from March till November
I already have rippling abs, chiseled pecs, and bulging biceps.
