Did you eat a big carb meal? like lots of rice, pasta, bread, etc? It could be that you have diabetes. You can be slim and diabetic. Usually diabetics feel drowsy after a meal that consists of lots of carbs or sugar. You need to check your sugar level 2 hrs after a meal. You also need to check with a doctor.

The blood in your body goes to your stomach to help it digest the food so there is less blood flowing through your brain. This is why you feel drowsy.
I have a fast metabolism as well. Sometimes when I eat fatty foods I get a bit groggy and drowsy, because all the blood is rushing to my stomach trying to digest that big meal. So maybe see if you feel differently if you eat less or more fatty foods.
