Depends who you ask and when you ask them. at times I feel very satisfied with the way I look and at other times not so much. I am 37 now and realize that I am not going to look the way I use to look when I was in my twenties. if I was to compare myself to most 37 years I think most people would say I look great. Society plays a huge role in the way one feels about themselves. I am a personal trainer, group exercise instructor and part owner of two gyms almost three gyms and both my male clients and women clients are almost always comparing them selves to others around their age. I don't workout because I have to I workout because I like the high I get from a really good workout. what is important is that you see your self as healthy and in shape and not what others think of you. someone out their will find something to critize you about no matter who you are or what you look like.

I guess that's true. Somewhat. I mean, I workout for my figure and lately I've been feeling pretty damn attractive. I've been to the gym nearly every day since August. I am feeling pumped and ready for this bikini season.
Sometimes I don't like how I look in the mirror - but a quick run and some sit ups makes me feel better.
I think society pressures guys and girls to look a certain way (I admit I'm no exception) and people kind of just get sucked in.
Plus, working out is just plain addictive :D

Not necessarily. I work out to maintain my shape. Not because I feel inadequate. Even if I didn't work out, I still feel as though I look good. Also, I dont just exercise for my shape, but also for my health.
Yes I am like that sometimes. The more I work out and when I see the result, the more I feel like I need to be perfect. I guess I need to stop being obsess with my body.
