
How much weight do you usually gain after your Thanksgiving feast?


So I'm in Canada and we did not celebrate Thanksgiving for a few years since the pandemic either due to vacations or due to bickering with guests we normally invite, but I usually gain between 2-5 pounds from a big dinner and then 3 pounds will disappear after 72 hours and usually I only struggle to lose 1 or 2 which might take a few weeks to come off.

I really don't know, nor do I want to know. I make it a point to not weigh myself around the holidays. And the weight gain, whatever it is, is only temporary. By early February, I can feel that it's gone.

I try to take in easy and get a good workout in beforehand. If I gain a pound or two it usually is lost the next couple of days.

I've never weighed myself before, and after. For me, the test is whether or not pants fit the same.
Probably not too much because I'm a picky eater and at Thanksgiving I'll usually only eat like ham or turkey, mac and cheese and apple pie

Ok, I got away with gaining only 3 pounds. That's not too bad considering the appetizers, huge dinner, and dessert. It will be difficult to resist the leftovers!
I don't really gain. Our Thanksgiving consists of three people, so not a lot of food.
I try to not get carried away at Thanksgiving/Christmas --- maybe 3-4 lbs if even that
Like over the whole of Christmas for us in the UK probs like 8kg over 3 weeks or so lol
Uhh I don't know because I got a fast metabolism so it just goes right away. But max I would say 2 pounds
