I'm also waiting for marriage, I have to many friends who've done it and regretted it, especially when the guy leaves them because they never wanted commitment but just sex.
I never had a choice but if I did i would have stayed a virgin... I spent the last 10 years with one person and can't imagine ever having sex with anyone else, but he never would have married me.

Highly debatable that it's more healthy for a relationship to wait until marriage. Sexual issues and incompatibility absolutely can be the reason a couple splits up, and you're rolling the dice on whether you're sexually compatible if you wait until marriage.
@ScottieO Sexual incompatibility is a huge thing. Waiting for marriage is a choice that everyone has the right to make, but if people are making that choice they do need to be going in with their eyes wide open. Sex isn't magical, it's natural. Dogs have sex, cows have sex, moose have sex, even pigs have sex (with thirty minute orgasms to boot). By all means wait for marriage if that's your prerogative but don't turn it into this big mystical event. Your going to be disappointed.
@coralee Just because something is natural, doesn't mean it's always a good idea. Most of the worst evils are things our pig brains tell us to do. Don't lower yourself to "cows, pigs, dogs."
You are also wrong that sexual compatibility is a huge thing. It's only a huge thing for couples who initially base too much of their relationship on sex. It's THOSE couples who have problems later on when their boobs shrivel up and they struggle to figure out why besides sex they are together.
And sex is actually way better when there is a relationship attached.

Stop demonizing something you clearly know nothing about. If you want to wait that's fine but don't make wide sweeping generalizations about something you have either never had or have limited experience with.
@BrianMerritt And what's wrong with dog, pigs and cows? Dogs don't go to war, their incredibly loyal, and are nicer then many people. Human evil comes from the human part of our brain not the animal. It comes with so called higher cognitive learning which is also why chimps despite their cuteness are far nastier then gorillas. Their too much like us.

If there's something major, like a whacky fetish that you absolutely CAN'T live without, tell your partner. Otherwise, there's really no roll of the dice. @BrianMerritt Again your showing your ignorance sexual compatibility isn't just about the mechanics. It's about far more then just who likes what. There are differing drives to consider. A sex repulsed asexual is going to have a very hard time compromising with someone who has a high sex drive. It's easy to say you would make it work when you haven't been in that situation before. Not to mention that there are a billion other variables. And I'll give you a little bit of advice women that don't enjoy sex tend to want it less. If you and your partner don't match up, she might not be as excited as you are to practice. There are tons of people I love enough to take a bullet for it doesn't mean I want to sleep with them.
I don't think I'd marry someone unless I knew them pretty well, and that includes sharing sexual intimacy.
