I will discuss 4 types of weddings and explain why each one can be beneficial to the bride and groom.
Church
Many people who are planning a wedding like the traditional wedding of going to churches often do so because they enjoy the atmosphere. Marriages throughout history often were done in temples and churches. The men wear suits and bowties typically, while women wear dresses and heels. This format for dressing in a church is optional and not mandatory but most wear the clothes because they don't want to be oddballs. Many people feel comfortable wearing these clothes and since many people are highly spiritual and depend on God for their life's mate in life, they opt for this type of wedding.
Beach
Some people are laid back and more open to casual forms of weddings where the men particularly don't wear clothing that chokes the neck and wear a Hawaiian collared shirt with loose slacks and often go either barefoot or wears sandals. Since many people likes the beach scene and the woman sometimes can't afford the dress nor the man to buy it for her, then she can wear silk tops or a jumpsuit skirt like attire sorta like skirt alls but more colorful. Also, since this is taken outside of a building rather than inside, there can be a little more conversation between the guests, although they are still seated, which benefits those who loves more interactive conversations.
Biker
A few people love the daring type of weddings and things where they feel edgy doing it but still partake in a very important phase of their life. Since so many people are into bicycles and motorcycles to express their own way to fit in, it is only fair to have weddings dedicated to what transportation they enjoy. Men often wear sleeveless vests and jeans to these types of weddings but can alter depending on the season or weather due to being outside. Women often wear sleeveless dresses more alike the church type weddings but sometimes can wear hiking type clothing.
Nude
This type of wedding is the least popular that I can think of and many people have a desire for nature and it is only natural to get married in the nude and so many people feel comfortable wearing nothing at all and it is commonplace to them in some cultures. The guests don't necessarily have to wear clothes but usually they are more covered up than the bride and groom. It was said that in tribal weddings that this is highly appreciated by their family members but with so many people who are not sex positive or hung up on sexual situations, this will be condemned.
Conclusion
I understand that there are more than these 4 types of weddings but usually the majority of people are covered in their lifestyle when they have one of these types of weddings. I placed these 4 in the order that I feel it is most popular.
Obviously I couldn't show completely nude and had to show where they are covered and I understand you can marry without having a wedding.
