All guys have different mentalities. If marriage isn’t for you then don’t get married. Simple. I believe in equality so I’d expect my husband to be the same otherwise our marriage would fail. Everyone’s different really.
I'm never getting married. I don't want a family of my own. Would rather not risk losing half of my shit, which is honestly nothing, in divorce court.

Agreed, marrying in 2022 and beyond is like blindly walking across the minefield. The chances of having a life long marriage are slim to none, so what is the point. Besides, here in United States you are marrying the Government, not the woman.

50% is a paper statistics, reality is much grimmer. And I agree, I wouldn't want to jump out of the airplane knowing that the chances of my parachute to open are only 50% or less. Plus, the real catastrophe would be transferred and felt by your children and not you or your X-wife.
Marriage for men today is more risky and costly and the benefits are fewer than they used to be. It's a bad choice for most men.
