Has your Parents gave you every excuse in the book not to be at your wedding?

Would you be crushed if you decided to have a small destination wedding in 2024. And your parents said they are not going to come... after you offered to pay for them to? Simply because they don't like cancun mexico? And they have to baby sit my sisters kid... which my sisters boyfriend is capable of baby sitting his own kid... my dad can't apparently take days off of work (even though he can use his vacation time next year) and they are always going on vacations at least 2 to 3 times a year... but they said they might be able to go on a cruise if we got married there. .. doesn't make any sense to me... my mom is retired... (how can they suddenly take days off to go on a cruise. But not go to an all inclusive?) I'm very heart broken to think I'd be walking myself down the aisle
