Married individuals - made you cheat?

Cheating is the second most horrible act a human can do to another fellow human being they pledged themselves to in mutual- monogamous-matrimony. I am not looking to throw stones, I just want to know why you did it? What was the final straw that broke the vows you made so long ago?

I said in different words to somebody else on this site that I believe people with sexual issues such as cheating or bad habits lack imagination. My doctor is very good looking and his wife is obese and old. My doctor does not cheat on his wife, when he needs excitement, he rides his motorcycle for the adrenaline rush. Or sometimes he does competitive sports for the excitement and thrill of getting his heart pumping. I actually do not care too much about physical beauty, I think paintings are more beautiful then good looking men.

We are married, we are great friends and partners in life, but we don't really live each other.

cheating usually happens in dysfunctional marriages. 90% of the time, if both parties are happy, nobody would be cheating. If there is a cheating partner, there is usually something else really bad going on. People are quick to blame the cheater, but the spouse being cheated on usually has their wrong doing in it too.
