Now marriages are beautiful, fun, delightful, etc. Not against them. But are they really necessary?

Many people now in these days don't really look for marriages in their youths even look for marriages at all. Because they believe in other focus things also self-love and harmony.

Example my cousin 9 years ago tied the knot with his girlfriend after a 4 month relationship. He was 24 and she was 21 at that time. Today still marriaged having a son and daughter together. Another example a friend of mine tied the knot with his high school classmate at the age of 49. He wanted to be husband material. But didn't care for it.

Personally don't care for it, doesn't mean I don't want to be a husband some day. However don't prefer being in wedding scenes am not the type based on snobby individuals being self-righteous.

Again tell me if marriages

are still really necessary 🤔☺️

Buddhist Wedding 🙂

Catholic Church Wedding 🙂

Sikh Wedding on top and Jewish Wedding 🙂

I'm Catholic so yeah it's very important as one of the Catholic sacraments baptism, confession, communion, confirmation, marraige and last rights.
Even if the government didn't recognise the union it had to take place in a church before God and the marraige ceremony performed by a priest.
Everything else such as the reception, dress, cake, honeymoon, all of which i had didn't matter as much as the actual church wedding. Just wouldn't be the same with just getting married in a registery office or living on sin.

It is for some people. But I agree that there are a lot of people who I also would not encourage to marry and see no reason for them to marry.

Yes, because marriage and family are the basic units, the basic building blocks of a functioning society. If a society is to enjoy prosperity and stability and have a future, then at its root should be a unit that has a clear legal definition, distinguishing characteristics, and reasonable requirements. It's not just about a couple "celebrating their love" or whatever.
