I have been with my man for 3 years. He is in my country on a visa but on a permanent pathway now as we are now married etc. We went to his country on our honeymoon which is a 3rd world country. I met his family for the first time. Within minutes his dad showed me a photo in a frame on his wall of my husband with his ex finance from years ago and my husband's mum in the pic who died years ago. He said don't worry about the ex on his wall. His auncle also has a pic of the family from years ago on his FB profile pic with the ex hugging my husband.
My husband bumped it off initially then saw how upset and offended I was and had an argument with them and his dad ripped the photo up.
Do you think they did this in purpose? If so why?
It's really bizzare behaviour and I don't understand it.

i dont find it that weird, to them its just a photo a memory, something that happend, doesn't mean the ex is important and that they dont respect you
I think they just maybe like having photos up but it's more fo
* More of a red flag that you haven't met his family after 3 years of dating!
Not a red flag, we live on opposite sides of the world and had covid lockdowns, two actually and weren't allowed by the government to travel
Didn't know that but you got married before meeting his family?
God I need to learn how to read. Lmao sorry
Yes because I'm old and we are both wanting to start a family asap after being together a few years. I'm old and may not be able to have kids now and we wanted a marriage first so that a baby will have two married parents that love each other and we didn't have time to wait for travel and money to travel. I'm 42 next month and already had a miscarriage so I wasn't wanting to hold off just so we can meet the family first and thank god I didn't wait because they seem to still like his ex anyway so screw them.
I'm so sorry. I was quick to judge before I knew all the facts, stupid human error. I wish you all the best ❤️
Not unusual at all.
