I have a friend in Minnesota we were discussing family traditions when it comes to celebrating Christmas and we got around to the Christmas tree.
In his family they enjoy the snow and the brisk air and the fresh scent of Pine and after walking around in the fresh air and enjoying the sound of the snow as it makes that crunching sound under their snow boots they at long last locate this years "perfect Christmas tree" to murder and cheerfully bring it back to their home to decorate.
I then shared with him my family tradition Silicon Valley California style. I simply go out to the garage it is always easy for me to spot our "Perfect Christmas tree" I bought it a couple of years ago from Target.
Our perfect tree is kept safe in its very festive Red colored "body bag" I just simply wheel in the Red "festive body bag" from the garage and the family gathers around for the very festive "unzipping" of the body bag.
Then the family abandons me to "install brach A into Post A I will always have some of my favorite Christmas songs playing in the background on my iphone and as the music plays I can be heard to exclaim more than once to our family cat Rosie "Rosie get out of the festive body bag"

What a coincidince she loves our couch loves to scratch it inspite of the scratching posts we hjave all over the house.
My cat did that that until we declawed her:) she also once knocked down out Christmas tree!
