I work okay… I do. She makes a lot more then me. I always been kind of cheap and I never grew up poor but I never had the finest stuff either.
We been together 2 years and she’s hands down the best woman I ever been with. I asked about this before on here. She’s gotten me sunglasses that cost hundreds, a 1,000 dollar phone, a few Rolex watches, etc. I can only really afford flowers and some jewelry here and there.
I appreciate it I really do. But I feel so terrible because I can’t afford the same. She tells me she loves me and that I’m worth more than anything. She’s sweet. She’s really REALLY good to me. I tell her how supportive and goods she’s been mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and in about every other way you can think of including financially. But I just can’t anymore.
This time it was a truck. A really nice and expensive truck. I was floored by it. I was so happy I really was. But it hit me how much she paid.
Most the time she won’t tell me how much the gifts she buys me even cost…. a LOT of money. Probably thousands she’s spent on me. I love her. I love her. I do. But how do I tell her she needs to stop.
I can’t reject a gift from her because it’s too expensive she just won’t let me.
