What’s the sweetest thing someone has done for you today?

I just went out from home and I purchased a power bank through delivery but it wasn’t charged, so had to leave home with barely charged phone.

Went downstairs to buy a new one before my taxi arrive cause later on I wouldn’t be able to buy one cause I’ll be super busy, but the shopkeeper said their shop didn’t have any power banks for selling.

However, he gave me his own power bank. I found it such a sweet and kind gesture.

And it really helped me so much.

He seemed to be very happy to help.

I don’t know why, we never spoke each other’s languages I just smile and say hello to him everyday I pass by there.

I live in an apartment building, and this girl across the hall from me got evicted for doing drugs in her apartment, and the cleaning lady went in there to clean and gave me some of the things that tenant left behind, like a can opener, a microwave, a bunch of canned goods, and a mop.

Since the only possessions I have it a few clothes and this laptop, I was ecstatic. Last year I lived in a nice house, and didn't have to worry about not having anything or running out of food, but my aunt and her cousin pulled all these scams and then my aunt and her cousin tried to burn down the house with me inside, but I got a little too smart for them. They still sold all of my things and my aunt left the house, so it's empty now, but all the furniture and appliances I could have used, they are sitting in my aunt's cousins basement. Since they were going to burn down the house, the removed all that stuff first.

I could have used that stuff, but they are greedy anyway. The cleaning lady today, she really hooked me up. I was really grateful because I got diagnosed with diabtes not long ago and living here with these cockroaches and then there's drug dealers and drug addicts everywhere, my blood sugar has been bouncing around, like crazy numbers, so I 'm glad I have some soup now to store in case. Yesterday my blood sugar went to 500, and then crashed down to 34.

Now I know why people say living alone is bad for your health, lol. When I had friends around, my health was so much better. But I'm getting off point, Yeah, that lady really helped me out. She's an amazing person. She's the first nice person I met since I moved to this place.

I am not sure what’s the normal blood sugar level, but I understand these fluctuations you mentioned mustn’t be very good, so I hope you take a good care of yourself and not give up on yourself and your health.
