Should I add in anything extra?

My friend is graduating from TAFE, as a businesswoman. I’m having her over for a nice lunch and dessert, with a tea set and a crystal pendant as graduation gifts. Are these enough, or should I give her something else as well, like a book, or a jewellery box? I just don’t know how much is enough.

Hmm, your lunch setup with the tea set and gifts sound really sweet already! For a grad I think that's a really nice gesture.

A few extra ideas if you wanted to add something:

- A nice notebook/planner for her to use in her new career could be useful. Or giftcards so she can pick her own books.

- Cute business cards case/holder to keep in her bag

- Gift basket with some yummy snacks, lotions, face masks - treats for self care during stressful times

- Fun inspirational quote art print for her workspace

But honestly, I don't think you really NEED to add anything else. The lunch, tea set and pendant sound perfect already! She'll know it came from the heart.

And really, the best gift is your time and celebration of her achievement. I'm sure she'll love whatever you do. You're such a great friend!
