We've all been pussy whipped! With the exception of some of the things said by Klara-Hitler, this discussion is absolutely pathetic! I'd say that Pat Robertson is spot on!

Our founding fathers denied women the vote for a very good reason. They wanted to keep the federal government small, as called for in the Constitution, and they knew that women voters would vote for socialist nanny state policies that would bankrupt the country. Women got the vote in 1920 and now the country is certainly bankrupt, Christianity is dead, the nuclear family is dead, our birth rates are collapsing, our men are pussy whipped, our southern border is wide open and we're being invaded by third world hoards. In other words, America is finished.

The feminist fantasy ends when Isis comes over here and chops off our pussy whipped heads and then makes our "liberated" women wear burqas. Don't laugh! It's coming...

Your last sentence sums up the reason why I hate feminists

"Anyone who supports equal rights for women."

The feminist movement had done NOTHING at all to fight the injustices on men by women. When do I get to choose whether I want to be and for that matter pay for being a father? When can all the male victims come out of their shell?

I'm not interested in joining the army, but because of my penis I'm obligated to. I do want to hit (back) a woman who hits me and for once not having to pay for everything.

And why can't a man cry while women gets and demand complete sympathy and hugs?
Why do men have to put up with being mocked as sex-fixated ignorant brutes while we can't use the kitchen jokes anymore? Magazines like Cosmopolitan should be banned for being sexist and inconsiderate to men.

The feminist movement is over, join the humanist movement and start searching for equal rights to both genders.

Feminist support equal rights for women. Not better rights... equal. The injustices against women are a job by themselves and keep the feminists busy just trying to gain the same rights, opportunities, etc. as men have. If you find areas where men need help, then get off your butt and do that for your fellow men. Instead you bitch about women trying to pull themselves out of the drowning pool. The way you began your comment says it all. The reason you hate feminists is because they want equal rights and opportunities. So you have said that you do not want them to have equality.

Last time I checked, equally didn't mean "how can we I make it easier for women?" but "how can I make sure everyone gets the same treatment?" Supporting feminism is not the same as equalism as it per definition is to help WOMEN.

And as a matter of fact this comment is my way of of helping my fellow men, by pointing out to feminazies that women are already out of the "drowning pool" but they left us men behind by only changing social rules that oppressed women, not the ones that I "bitched" about.

The reason I hate feminists is because they haven't done anything about the oppressed man. Feminist want equality, then what about my questions above?

First, if you are in the US, the draft ended long ago. You still have to register in case of war, but till then, NO ONE is obligated to join the army. And women have been pushing for ages to open the positions in the military to women. When more of that happens, there will be a better chance of a draft for women. In some countries it already exists. Why can't a man cry? He can. If he gets mocked it is other men, not women! What the hell does being sex fixated have to do with Kitchen jokes, other than they are both representative of the wrong behavior that feminists are fighting? Any other questions that never should have been asked that you insist on having answered?

Now that you ask yes, how come Debra Lafave get 3 months of house arrest for pedophilia when a man gets lifetime?

Why can't we all be Egalitarianists instead?

Why do men have to pay for everything?
Why can't I force a woman to get abortion if I'm the father? She'd do it regardless if she was raped?

Why do women always get the custody? And men get the child support? Likewise, why do women get maternity leave but men don't? Why can't I keep my house if I get divorce or at least get some of the welfare women get?

Debra Lafave was offered a plea deal because the boy's family did not want a trial. No special treatment at all.
      .
We can't all be anything, because we have differences.
      .
Men DON'T have to pay for everything.
      .
You can't force a woman to get an abortion because it is her body.
      .
      Women don't always get custody.
      .
Depending on who has custody and who makes how much, men sometimes do get child support.
      .
Women get maternity leave more than men because their body is the one that needs to recuperate. However, in many places the men DO get maternity leave.
      .
As for who gets what after a divorce, the court decides. And sometimes the man does get the house.
      .
Those were easy. Even you should have been able to figure those out.

You're a "worthy opponent" as you force me to use my sources.

Yes, Debra Lafave was giving special treatment compared to Vann Dinh. abcnews.go.com/.../story?id=1752245&page=1

You have yet to answer why I can't hit a woman even in self defense.

Why is domestic violence only an issue if the victim is female?

If a ship is sinking, how come women get special treatment?
And about abortion I'm still not convinced:

It may be her body but it's my child and if she raped me or tricked me child support is the last thing I'm willing to pay. You neglected to reflect on my rape example too.

Finally, why aren't anyone willing to help a man who got raped by a woman? www.cracked.com/...man-who-was-raped-by-woman.html

LaFave was given a deal to avoid the case going to trial and hurting the boy and his family, as I said.

I did not see a question about hitting in self defense and don't have the time to dig through all you wrongly said to find it, but I can say that when defense is actually needed, as in when the males will actually be hurt, the man is not punished for self defense. There are many cases of domestic abuse publicized where the man is the victim, but it is nowhere near as common as the other way around.

And using cracked. com as a source of unbiased comment is asinine. that site takes any subject and twists in any way to find humor. Good grief man! You were forced to use source that did not help you at all.

You're underestimating Cracked as the page has citations. While MTV and TV turned into reality Cracked got political, did you read the articles?

Based on my YouTube link and the implications of their experiment. I believe the reason why it's so rare is because it's trivialized when it does happen and excused as being the man's fault. Can you honestly approve people's behavior in that experiment?

I do not agree with his ancient definition of feminism, but that doesn't mean I think men are better than women, or anything like that.

Men are not better than women based on gender, a man can be better than a woman based on individual human qualities - but not based on his gender.

Naturally women can be better than men, and often are - not just sometimes, it really depends more on the issues than anything.

Women are both inferior and superior to men, because women and men are different. Men and women are not equal, but should have equal rights and opportunities.

And no gender is better than the other, just different with skills being better, worse or the same depending.

Well written and very well executed. Nice job! 👍🏻

I wish more people could understand Feminist as you do. The younger generation seems to feel they've been cheated and have a false sense of entitlement that if not satisfied causes them to lash out. There will always be a few rotten apples from an apple tree but it doesn't mean the tree itself is diseased.

I wonder if the resentment towards women is not really about Feminism but rather the lack of parenting and single parent homes. Something is causing these haters to find anger in things and it's sad that it's directed at a cause that is truly only meant for good for both men and women.

There are rotten apples amongst the feminists, and often they scream loud enough to garner most of the attention. Then you get the Rush Limbaughs holding up the bad few as examples of the whole group. And the followers will believe what they are told without looking deeper. Thank you for your comments. :-)

The question is "What does feminism equate to today, equality, superiority or misandry?"

I think equality is the approach instead of fighting for the rights of people one piece at a time we should strive to create a society where facism and bigotry is very difficult to carry out in any form.

I believe discrimination arises from a excessive power handed to individuals within institutions.

Seeing as people don't just discriminate because of the broad reasons commonly known (eg a person can discriminate simply because they hate another person irrespective of that persons gender, sexuallity, race, age, religion, or appearance) it is not necessarily some school of thought which drives discrimination but rather it's the opportunity to discriminate.

Obviously unless a person is a prisoner they will have the power to disciminate against someone, but it's not unfair to insist that bigotry be kept at home.

So it would seem that the best way to tackle discrimination would be to implement preventative measures by placing power more squarely into the hands of the majority, for example a more heavily direct democracy rather than a heavily representative one. So government, but more heavily referendum driven laws.
The only major downside of direct democracy is population size.

It's sort of difficult to fit the explanation into one comment, but basically in a highly integrating community with ever mondernising views, if discriminaton is being kept alive it's being done so purposely.
"I'll fight for the rights of women, vote for me"
"I'll fight for the rights of ethnic minorities/majorities, vote for me"
"I'll fight for the rights of homosexuals/heterosexuals, vote for me"

Issues which should have been put to rest decades ago are being forced to propagate, to the point where feminism may no longer represent what it did during the time of suffrage. The champions of most causes these days are champions only for the perks on offer.

What is there to discredit now? Used to be that the societal norm was for women to be 2nd class citizens. Now it's thankfully not like that anymore. Now the only bad ''attitudes'' come from men who are either just inherently sexist or rapists themselves - and what can you do against them? Tell them to stop?

The only thing that buggers me is the fact, that this thing is called "feminism" not "equalism" since both genders aim to get equal rights (and that is only righteous and necessary in my opinion). Keep it up wise and honored @Red_Arrow

Wouldn't it be for wikipedia or my studies on the internet regarding feminism, I would judge the word for being "put women above men" when the past was otherwise.

And what if I dont believe in equality? What if I think people are inherently different and so are the gender and thinking everyone is equal is just some naive and utopic view on the world?

There is not a single right women don't have which men have in the west. Any other differences are due to choices.

Furthermore I judge a person - as well as a movement - by their actions, not their words. If you keep putting weight onto one side of the scale it will necessarily become imbalanced.

Equality does not mean equal. People are different, but are entitled to the same opportunities and rights regardless of gender. NO ONE is suggesting "equal" other than you. And the belief that no woman does not have the same rights and opportunities as men is wrong and very blind.

I hope that you are at least somewhat aware that feminism is a worldwide movement and that women throughout the world there are many countries that codify holding women back. Women in western countries are trying to help ALL women. I do not know of specific laws of countries other than the US. Examples In the US that I know of are voter suppression laws, usually aimed at other colors, that also affect women. A Florida law, passed in 2011, barred voter registration activities of groups like the League of Women Voters (which actually works for both men and women). Indiana's photo ID law barred twelve retired nuns from voting. Not aimed specifically at women, many laws do affect women. As for opportunities, even in the US there are club, events, etc., that are aimed at promoting business advancement of executives that are open only to men, though the efforts of feminists are opening many of them to women. Worldwide it is even much worse.

I am specifically saying in the west, because I heard it tons and tons of time to justify feminism in the US / Europe due to issues somewhere else. That that's a fallacy isn't even necessary to explain.

The Florida law is in no way sexist, but affects everyone. In reality the entire law is to prevent voting fraud with all the advantages and disadvantages such a law has. The increase of bureaucracy might be questionable, but has absolutely nothing to do with what you try to make it about.

The very same accounts to the Indiana PhotoID law and it just so happened that these 12 nuns were victims of that law. Once more has nothing to do about sexism. Sure, we can argue about the use of such laws - to me personally they sound more like an opportunistic measurement - but making them a reason "why we need feminism" is ridiculous.

You might want to try again though and bring up something of substance.

100 yers ago, feminists were about equality. They were honest about what they stood for.

Now, they are corporate shills looking to climb over men to get to high positions. They want supremacy. They don't care about most women, just their circle of privileged wll-connected ambitious princesses.

I agree in a way. I am not gung-ho on the moderates shaming the extremists. It takes a bit of hard core to stand up against groups. But I also would like to point out that the positive image you are referring to that feminism once had, was not really so positive. When the suffragettes fought for the right for women to vote, many (most?) men were against them, and so were many women. Suffragettes were often dragged off to jail. Feminism then was not so "noble". Looking back, we see that the "extremists" amongst the suffragettes were the ones that accomplished things and we respect them for what they accomplished. Perhaps someday, many of the current "extremist" feminists will be seen as heroes. I'm not sure how many will, but I expect at least a good number of the will.

Tbh, I just read this in a take or opinion about the difference between MRA and feminism. That MRA is quick to publicly distance themselves from Elliott Rodger, but feminists don't do that with their radicals.
While you do make a good point that 'extremists' are usually the people who get things done, I don't agree with -everything- they've accomplished. I don't see the point e. g. why firewomen don't have to pass the same fitness test as firemen. I don't want to get dragged on the floor to exit the building when I'm passed out. Some do nothing but destroy. I don't like how they try to actively silence people working for another cause.
Of course you can say there are bad apples in every group and the whole group doesn't call them out.. like you said in your example that moderate men also don't call out chauvinists. I absolutely agree that it takes huge balls to stand up against the 'bullies' because you might become their next target, but

the difference is.. you can't really choose to be a man or something else by society, but you can choose to be a feminist or something else.

Agree with things like meeting the same qualifications. totally. In fact, I thought that it had been decided that way. Maybe someplace other than your local area. I don't know for sure.

Feminism a movement that believes that dealing with only female issues and removing double standards that don't benefit women will somehow make the sexes equal.

It is obvious that removing double standards will. towards gaining equality (not being equal). If you cannot see that double standards are wrong, then any further explanation is useless

if feminists believed in equal rights, they would respect people's right to peacefully criticize feminism but no. those people would be labeled as misogynist and anti woman so don't tell me feminists are for equality. anyone who thinks feminism is an effort for equality rather than a tool to ideologically oppress people is just naive. even in early stages feminists were corrupt lobbyists. like those suffragettes who started the white feather shit. any person who calls themselves feminist is contributing to the misery and declining life condition of so many men and women around the world and the sad thing is you feminists don't even understand how you're ruining everything

As smuch as i would like to see everyone in the world to be happy and equal does'ent change the fact that there is a certain group of feminists out there who are trying to eliminate men from the face of the earth so to me until such a group is removed and exterminated feminists will always boyfriend evil to me or many of the men.

The idea that women should be respected and have basic human rights ie feminism, is not evil. Promoting blood thirsty hate filled Marxist ideology disguised as feminism how ever is. This is why you keep hearing about feminism and fairness but seeing the vilest results from it.

Like in every group, the radical fanatics always give bad fame to the group "they support ".

There is a group called feminazi, which are very radical.

Maybe the whole thing is That each gender has pros and againsts, recognize and accept them, work and improve them, and if there is a problem, seek and accept help. However, That doesn't mean That there cannot be equality.

I am not so sure about the feminazis as a separate group. Way back a bunch of bigoted men began calling all feminists feminazis and tossing in exaggerations and untruths to stir up a bunch of "followers" to that way. Rush Limbaugh is definitely on ewho did and still does that.

feminism was about equal rights for women. now feminism is about female interest. that is not evil. pursuing your interest politically is totally legit. just claiming that you want a "fair society" while fighting for women to have more rights than men is kind of dumb :D

This is retarded. Rights =/= outcomes. So you can just delete everything you wrote and try again because its all based on that faulty assumption. Women have the same rights or more rights than men in the united states. Therefore feminism such as it originated (equal rights) is achieved and over. Anything feminism now is completely different and is actually against equal rights.

I'm simply an egalitarian , equal rights for ALL. Sadly feminism has been hijacked by the extremist " Kill All Men " man hating loonies. Aren't women & men supposed to complement each other , not compete with & be negative towards each other?

Some women have made feminism have a poorer image, to put it mildly. But many are simply supporting the women of the world who are still oppressed or lacking opportunities available to men.
