1. Don't blow your nose
In most Asian countries, blowing the nose in social public is disgusting. In Japan, you can sniff but you can't blow it.
2. Don't talk on the phone on the train
There are three main reasons behind it; privacy, public disturbance, and train etiquettes.
3. Don't eat on the train
Not to disturb people by its smell and also to keep the trains clean.
4. Don't wear shoes in a house
Japanese houses have an area called "genkan" and here is where you take off your shoes. You take off your shoes before entering the house because it doesn't matter how clean they look, they are dirty.
5. Don't point fingers
Pointing directly at someone with your finger is considered impolite in Japan. Use your hand instead.
6. Don't be careless with trash
Japan has a really strick trash rules which I wish to have here in my country. You can't just trow it whenever you want. You must trow right item on a right time. Plastics, metals, paper etc. they all have a different day. And you also need to put it into a transparent bag.
7. Be careful with tattoos
Some places like gym and onsen won't let you in if you have a visible tattoo. And it can also be a big problem while applying for a job.
