There certainly is... some of it visible to the naked eye. But scientists have concluded there is far more, in the forms of dark matter and energy, that we can't observe directly.
AND
There may be other quantum universes behind the veil.
One thing. There may be self-aware life out there somewhere, but I think it is vanishingly rare even in the vastness of the universe.
My opinion is the smartest people of the world and handle information that most other people can't.
That's we get all of these crackpot theories which challenge scientific discoveries.
The people we should listen to most are the ones in the lab doing the actual research.
Not the guy on the train who hasn't shaved for 5 weeks, suffers from various mental disorders and starts a conversation with you about his questionable life story and theories on reality.
there are two very good bits of evidence that the universe is not a simulation. First, infinite numbers like pi mean that the programmer would have to spend an infinite ammount of time typing everything in. second, there's this article: cosmosmagazine.com/.../physicists-find-we-re-not-living-in-a-computer-simulation
Shouldn't that be irrational instead of infinite?
@JenSCDC that's the technical term, yes. but I felt that infinite would help emphasize my point better, and also be easier to understand for anyone who didn't remember enough from math class to otherwise understand.
Yeah it’s not like the movie “The 13th Floor” or “The Matrix” . The universe is real and ever expanding and endless. I think the problem is our thinking that something has to have a beginning and an end but that’s probably not how the universe works, probably an endless void
Asking that question is putting you in simulation theory. Like if you found out that the universe isn't real, then you would try to break out of the simulation. But how would you know if the new world you are in is real?
If you broke out of that, then how about the next one and the next one?
There is no way.
I can't think of any reason to make it all up, especially from people like millionaire scientists. Plus wether or not other planets exist, there's absolutely no denying the stars far out in space. I'm positive there's space farther than any man can go before the end of time.
I don't believe in life alien to Earth unless other planets can sustain life,(which I terribly doubt), and know none would be humanoid. Little otherworldly bugs at most.
It's basically impossible that there is no life beyond earth. There's too many planets in the universe.
@Franitz I see no wall to bound the space in the universe.
Huh?
@Franitz Oh, sorry. I thought you were the guy asking the question.
Well, my assumption of no humanoid life outside Earth is from it not making sense in contrast to the Bible. The Bible doesn't simply say wether it's true, and is a very complicated book, but the possibility just doesn't add up.
No I see why you think the way you do. Indoctrination by the bible.
The universe is real. Stop watching YouTube! Stop wasting your time with moronic conspiracy theories.
The universe is just as real as you and I. God created billions and billions upon billions of planets and unique stars with their own galaxies and glory.
As God's word says:
Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
FUCK YES! What the fuck are you on about? This is one of those if a t-shirt company has so far only made t-shirts that have had purple on them can they make other colored ones? Fucking obiosuly it`s real.
I am not even sure if the current reality we live in is "real" .. how can I be sure of anything else, let alone the universe.
For all we know, we could be one person dreaming with split personality disorder.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that maybe the "evidence" you have for the Universe being a hologram or whatever is a little lacking in credibility.
Also, have you ever looked through a telescope?
"There's lot's of controversy saying that we live on a flat earth or that the universe doesn't exist."
There's no controversy except among those who are incredibly ignorant.
If you think the universe is a simulation, that's one thing. If you think it's a simulation being run by the government, then your paranoid delusions have reached the stage where you require immediate hospitalisation and medication.
yes, and a tinfoil cap.
It's one of those things I don't tend to spend a lot of time thinking about (although I do remember doing so as a kid).
Kind of makes your mind turn to mush if you overthink it...
There's really no reason for anyone to hide something like that.
I don't see why it wouldn't be real.
Yes... it is real...
(But the moon might not be - i. e., might be artificially made, not natural.)
I loled. You seriously believe that?
Lmao
@Franitz Haha Not exactly the way I stated it - might've been a bit clockbaity... I mean the moon hollow inside (there's specific research with sound waves proving so), some of the first astronauts heard music on the dark side of the moon, I think it's more or less natural, but not in the way we might think it is...
*is hollow...
And the moon is most probably older than the Earth, maybe as old as the solar system itself... So there's a lot we don't know about the moon... It's a huge mystery - and NASA certainly isn't helping out...
(P. S. There are conspiracies that the moon is just a projection, but that's just for fun... Haha)
There's no atmosphere at all on the moon. How could they have heard music?
you are right about the moon
So it is cheese? 😂
@TuMeManques hum.. lets start a mining project, you can deploy a supply chain on earth.. and become a cheese distributor! while i from moon can start mining and deploy carts sending cheese to earth, carts will land in your backyard.
@Nik1hil I love it! We'll be so rich!
@TuMeManques nah!. . you can be rich, the sole accomplishment of living moon in itself will be satisfaction to me.
who the hell knows..
in my opinion this is all one big fucking con job, one big shitty lie! It's all an illusion or simulation of some kind for god knows what purpose.
this is a question that people are asking, humans are stupid
I think you should look up better accredited sources...
Too many lies about now. It's the authorities fault for lying since the beginning of media. People dunno what to believe any more. Personally I'm sick if it.
