The only case I support females in the army is in the case of conscription. Men shouldn't be treated as disposable citizens, at least not exclusively depending on your thoughts on involuntary draft.

Outside of that, though, I don't think the military is a place for women. I don't think women, at least the big majority, could handle anything from logistics to battlefield as men can.

A close friend of the family, who served for 25 years, said he never saw a woman ever pull her weight. Even though they were only 3.5% female or so, the DOD tried to push it higher but the females, he says around *80%, never made it past their 1st enlistment.

We all know they even lowered the standards at Army Ranger School so it can be more gender neutral. Isn't this a joke?

We shouldn't separate the capabilities and abilities according to the gender. Women should have the opportunity to join any military position.
But as women must have the equal opportunity, women must pass the same tests as men.

One rule, one standard, one law, one test, one treatment. Everything equal without considering genders. Everything equal to a moral and strength of a soldier.
Men or women whoever can handle it. Go ahead. Whoever can't, Accept you haven't made to be soldier and move on.

-Those women who have the capabilities and are tough as nails has the right to face the ground and the opportunity to be in their favorite field and serving their country.
-Never forget many men can't even handle it.

So the programs and tests must be equal for both genders. If you can, pass it and be it.

I've served with a lot of female soldiers that proved to be extremely competent. Some as good, if not better, than some male soldiers in their MOS. I don't agree with physical standards being lowered so that they're easier to meet for females but there are positions that they excel in. I'm not on board with them serving in a combat MOS for one simple reason:
If they're deployed and engaged in a firefight there is always the possibility that a male may have developed a romantic interest in her (or he sees it as his duty to save the damsel in distress) and his emotions would likely cloud his judgement. Putting himself at risk and failing to consider possible outcomes in order to save her.

I sincerely hope you aren't trying to dissuade women from joining the military just because they're female and are purportedly inferior to men. I know the arguments about the biological and physiological and mental differences between males and females and I fully believe that women should be allowed to enlist if they can. Combat roles aren't the only ones, there's plenty of other divisions in the military for women and men.

Though I dont agree with the lowering of standards, that's true. I feel like women should be held to the same standards as men in these kinds of situations because it's not really trying to oppress women or whatever but a matter of necessity.

No problem with it so long as they meet the physical and performance requirements of the job and that zero concessions be given that are gender based. I'm generally against unrestricted conscription of females because they would likely take non combat roles due to physical requirements thus requiring a males to be used for combat roles only.

Women should only be allowed in the military/public safety if they can pass the exact same physical requirements that the men can. Mens lives should not be in the hands of women that aren't able to save them.

Yes but not Combat Arms Trades like infantry, artillery, etc.

It's fine and dandy if a woman is held to a lesser regard and she is enlisted as a POG. But when you have women enlisting into the combat arms and being passed through the physical fitness requirements at levels that are less than men, it puts lives at risk.

I think they should. It's not a job for an overly sensitive woman, you need to be comfortable with the fact that people might try to kill you. You also need to be comfortable with taking a life if you have to. That being said, women can fire a weapon just as effectively as a man can, and it would provide more able bodies for the frontlines. As long as they are fit and can meet physical standards, I say more power to them.

I think humans in genral shouldn´t join the military. I´m not saying they cannot. I´m not saying it´s not a worthy cause, or that they aren´t capable of it. I´m just saying it is most probably going to scar them. The interseting thing is that the kind of person who is unlikely to suffer from PTSD after being in a War Zone is probably also the kind of person who couldn´t care less about patriotism or their country.

I don't like women as cops or military. It makes women look more masculine and less attractive. Lastly, a women's body isn't designed to endure stressful situations much less fighting. I love My women at home nice and safe from danger.😊
