I had that happened to me. I smiled at him for so kind as to move out of my way and he said I should more because I'm "beautiful." Yeah right.

I'm not the kind of guy that smiles a lot and there are very good reasons. Most people who will tell you that can't even fathom what derpression is so I don't bother debating with them.

It's idiotic. Because if you see someone dying, you don't just tell the person to get up and be better, you actually have to do something to help him/her.

I'm sure that the stranger is just trying to be friendly. If you're particularly morbid, you can always try putting one on your face and nullify their need to tell you.
