I've seen the opposite too and the only thing they all agree on is that it depends on the person, not the gender.

It all comes down to sexual market value. Men and women value different things in a partner, whether consciously or unconsciously. I'm gonna generalise here and I'm sure a few might say "I'm not like that", but the majority are, it's in our genes and it's how things have worked for thousands of years.
Women are programmed to look for signs that show that a man is strong and intelligent enough to provide an protect her and their children. Men are programmed to look for signs of good genes and fertility.
Looks for women are much more important for this reason when it comes to attractiveness. A woman is the most fertile in her late teens an early twenties, and that's the point where she's the most attractive. After 25 these looks, the main thing that attracts men, start to fade.
The same if probably true for men, however, while looks do play a part so does his level of confidence, his ambition, his career, his success, his financial stability. Unless he's an idiot these all increase with age, thus making him more attractive.
Women often don't understand this at all. It's the reason many of them think that men are intimidated by their intelligence, education, career success etc. They assume that men find these things attractive when we don't really care much about those things. It's also why you get these women in their 30s and 40s who say that they can't find good men because all the good successful men their age are married, or they're chasing 22 year olds (and again here they assume that it must be down to those men being "intimidated" by them, not that they simply find those younger women more attractive).
I think they're often blind to it because in their 20s so many men treat them as though the sun shines out of their asses, and they think that's gonna last forever. Then when it doesn't they live in denial. The smart ones see it coming, marry and start a family young. It's generally true, but that is a poor analogy.
Women have the highest social value when they are young, because they are not only the most physically attractive in their teens and 20s, but they are at the beginning of their reproductive period. In terms of social values, women crush men in value up until around their 30th birthday, because most men under 30 have nothing of substance to offer (yet). Nothing is more common and less valuable than a young guy with a hard dick. Lol.
But once past 30, the tables begin to turn. Woman are already past the halfway point of their reproductive years and no longer have the looks they once had (with a few exceptions - how does Halle Barry do it?). But men are usually starting to come on strong with their careers, and are entering the period of their peak earning years. They finally have some resources and status to offer, and that only increases as time goes on.
Obviously these are generalizations, but they are generally true.Yes, and no, it's true most men like young women all the time period, while women more often than men like older.
Even bisexual women, generally seems to prefer younger women.
This is however, based on something else than actually age, but rather what gives the two genders value.
Women are values mostly based on look, and looks faded in both genders. Men however are also valued based on leadership (usually referred to as dominance or being a real man etc.), and social-economic status.
Sine older men tends to have a higher social-economic status, and men don't care about women's social-economic status, then men age like wine in the sense they keep their attraction value better since it's not just based on look.
Physically however men and women ages about the same.Generally true if guys take care of themselves. We girls have our prime attractive years 16-30 and for men its 29+. There are exceptions but generally it's true. That's why there are so many women panicking about turning 30 and not being married.
https://youtu.be/Uhcx3zAlFBESome people age better than others. I wouldn't say that men in general age better than women. Beer guts are fucking gross and it seems that most men over 35 have them unless they're actively working on staying in good shape.
How well one ages depends on activity levels, genetics, diet, environment, and a whole host of factors. Sex or gender have nothing to do with it.Fuck no. Men my age and older with their gross dad bods and balding scalps.
Please. I've had 2 kids and breastfed them both and I look way better than those fat old farts. In regards of physical appearance, it's not true; both generally age badly. Guys like to say that phrase, but, in general, guys in their 20s look more attractive than guys in their 30s, guys in their 30s look more attractive than guys in their 40s, guys in their 40s look more attractive than guys in their 50s and I rarely see men in their 50s that still look attractive. The opposite wouldn't make sense. In regards of characteristics other than physical appearance, it depends on the person, regardless of genre.
There are attractive members of both sexes in middle to older age.
If a guy takes care of himself like stays in shape and cares for his skin like using face wash and eye cream then yes. I think women can look good as well if they care of their bodies. Really depends on the person on how they treat their body as they get older.
Women of my family age better than wine they age like honey (They don't at all :P) My mom is in her fifties and people still think she's 30 yo... It all depends on genes if you have bad genes then you age badly and if you have good genes you don't age badly. Stress also has factor in ageing.
I think it comes down to the individual.
Unfortunately I drew the short stick of genetics and got my first gray hair at 17. (and I'm still single at 30). A lady I work with just noticed her first gray hairs and she's 32.No. And I won't keep anything in mind said by someone who can't even spell "ladies". I've been told I look like I'm 15 although I'm soon turning 23. Also a lot of men bald before they've even hit their 30s, have beer bellies, wrinkles, bad skin...
It is commonly but not always true. Exceptions to this exist. But generally, yes, it IS true.
How true it is varies from place to place, due to the cultural norms and lifestyle of people. Especially for women, it varies a LOT."B" Should really Be... Not Always Here, dear.
Many times, Men turn to Beer Bellies and Women? Turn to Swine, Not Fine like Wine. xxBoth age like milk. Goat's milk at that. I've seen heaps of hideous older men. I'm not attracted to them whatsoever.
Naturally? Yes. However, if you take even a few anti-aging measures, like wearing sunscreen regularly, you'll age like white rice (regardless of gender).
Men get the "beer" or pot bellies and women get saggy everywhere if both sexes don't keep themselves up so its not really who ages more gracefully.
It is true that our skin shows more signs of aging as we get older. This is why it is important for women to wear sunscreen and take care of their skin. I know several older women who have done this and they look fantastic!
It's really funny how mostly men voted true while women voted false lmao

Well I think I've aged pretty well thanks.
Men I find age quicker because they don't look after their skin.
