I am British and trust me when i say... we have so many different and varied accents over here some are confusing and some are attractive, some are far from attractive... and not many people from the US have heard more than a couple of British accents, they usually only hear the London or Cockney accents and think that is what English people sound like lol I have been told I have a unique accent myself, but I'm originally from the South of England (born) but raised for few months in Cambridge then 3 years in Germany, then in 2 different towns in the midlands until moving back down south a few years back
I do melt at the Irish accent though and a nice voice too
As an Irishman, I can't stand the British accent and it annoys me how everyone obsesses over it.
“British accent” is ridiculous. There’s hundreds of accents accross the British isles. Nobody finds my accent attractive “I’m from Lancashire”.

But there are a lot of different types of English accents.
If you're referring to the BBC accent, then yes, most people would find them attractive.
Now, if you're talking about a Scouse or Geordie accent, most Americans might not find that as appealing... if they can understand it at all.
Well since i am English i have no clue but i like russian and American accents, and i am betting i would probably like British accents if i wsn't British myself and can't hear it.
And i do like English accents that americans put on in films.
I'm British myself but I find Northern accents so sexy, like ones from Manchester and Sheffield also Irish and Scottish accents too.
To me a British accent sounds funny, it´s okay but certainly not sexy or cute.
