I think it is slightly as they could be confusing the child on there own identity. They should go with what the child wants when they are old enough to decide.

No, other people. I know what I would do with my kid. There sex is there sex. No ifs about it. If it's a boy he dresses like a boy and vise versa. But your question was about parents in general. And meant I have no say in what they do, i think its wrong to do that. But that's just me.
